My daughter was missing from her class room after lunch. The teacher noted she was missing as soon as she picked up her students from the playground area. My daughter was lost for over 35 minutes before I found out she was missing and I only found once I tried to pick her up from their classroom. The teacher asked me to step in the class and told me they were looking for her but had yet to find her. We proceeded to go see the principal Mrs. Le. Once in the office they were all looking at me blankly and proceeded to tell me they had been unable to find her but they thought she might be in one of the other classrooms. They asked if anyone else had picked her up. My mind was spinning! I proceeded to go look for her at the kindergarten classrooms but no luck on the first classroom. I proceed to the next classroom (I should mention kids were being dismissed to the patent/caregivers while my child was Missing, everyone went about their day as if nothing wrong was happening) Once I went to the second classroom I immediately saw my daughter and called her over. My daughter had been in this class all along although the principal, the aide and the playground guard had gone to this very classroom to look for her (a total of 5 times altogether). HOW COULD THAT TEACHER NOT KNOW SHE HAD AN EXTRA STUDENT?! WHY WAS I NOT NOTIFIED SOONER?!! This could have had a totally different ending (thank God this was not the case) and the school would have been responsible if anything had happened to my daughter. My daughter will not be going back to this school and I highly recommend you not send your kids to this school they are not safe!

I'm very impressed by the hardworking teachers and hardworking staff. My first impression of the school was the welcoming greeting of the schools administrator/ secretary Mrs Fitzgerald. She answered all my questions and made me feel that this was the right decision for my children's education. I like it so much that I volunteer two days of the week in my daughter classroom. My husband and I feel just as strongly about our children religious education as we do about their academic education. We feel SFR meets both these high standards most assuredly. The principal Mrs Mendez has a noticeable leadership quality that makes me want to be part of the SFR Families that truly care about this school.

She was locked into a bathroom stall and made my step daughter lick the toilet and the principal responded to my partner "Oh? We never called you to tell you?" Principal did not have a conversation with the parents. We never found out who the students were and who the parents were. Principal did not hold a meeting between parents or students. I would not recommend this school because if something is happening at school or in the after school program, Thing together, they try to avoid the parents. They won't notify you. The staff is a total failure. Now, they have a lawsuit coming their way.

Her first day was rough because of the new environment, but after that, she loved this school. She gained confidence, her speech and vocabulary skyrocketed and her social skills improved tremendously. I'm so proud of her and am very grateful for the thoughtful and loving care all the teachers and staff show all the students. From the office manager, Luz, to the lunch team, to the nurse...everyone shows such empathy and care to all the kids. The principal, Erin Fish, is amazing! She really gets it! She very much understands and empathizes with all families who have special needs children and the challenges we face. She is a champion for all the students, whether in special ed or not. I applaud this school for being so exemplary in the way they have shaped the culture of the school and how they support all the students to strive to do their best and to learn from their mistakes and failures. Again being back here I see a big difference in my kids. They always come home happy. They have great teachers there who are always willing to help out.
