Went for a 90-minute deep-tissue massage late in the afternoon on a Sunday. The massage was fair but the barber shop next door was playing music so loud that it literally gave me a headache halfway through the massage. No water was offered after the massage. One of the workers stole a client's wallet while on the table! When addressed the worker and the owners of this issue and they were very defensive. Client called the police and waited for them to get there but the worker just left! Asked the owners the work schedule of the worker who did this and they said they didn't know! So unprofessional!! Don't recommend at all unless you want the workers behind your back stealing money when you go for a relief! Crazy when one goes for some peace but leaves with problems caused by the business. read more

I highly recommend Ellie's Massage! I came for a deep tissue massage the first time, Kelly was my masseuse, and she did a great job. I got a hot stone massage/deep tissue the second time by Ellie and it was great as well! Ellie really knew how apply lots of pressure to where I needed it. Both Kelly and Ellie kept checking with me to make sure it wasn't too much pressure. I was really feeling the pain, but I knew I needed them to apply that pressure to get out all of my knots. I've been to many massage places like this in California but this has been the best massage I've gotten thus far. I'm definitely coming back for massages in the future on a periodic basis. I'd recommend the hot stones as well. It felt great but I think that the hot stones help loosen my muscles a bit for a better massage as well as provided a hard edge to break up the knots in my back. Tip: be sure to tell them where you want them to focus and don't be shy about telling them if it's too much or too little pressure. read more

Cindy did an AMAZING job tonight. I was floored. I've been looking for a deep tissue massage therapist and haven't been able to find one because nobody uses enough pressure even when I say deep deep tissue. Cindy gets and and was absolutely amazing.... deep deep pressure, stretching, relaxing setting, barefoot work. Couldn't ask for a better massage.... unless it was at the beach of course. Let me start off by saying although many may be licensed, not all massage therapist are equally skilled. Looking for a new location to try out, did a quick google search and came across Ellies Massage and decided to book an appointment. I was able to book a same day appointment on her website which was extremely easy. Ended up arriving a few minutes late having accidently parked on the opposite side of the parking lot and didn't see the suite at first. As I walked in, I was actually impressed with the entire studio. Extremely clean, nice location (office suite), professional setup, and comfortable rooms. I've received many massages over the years and hands down one of the best massages that I have ever had. Started out by asking me to identify any problem areas that she can focus on. To top it off, she went over my allotted hour even though I had arrived 10 minutes behind schedule. I will definitely return and will make sure to spread the word. I'm the end, I will say I liked the massage. But it was an interesting experience. I was never told what to do as she left, with the door open a crack. But I knew what to do from other massage therapist's in other locations, so I closed the door, undressed and waited 7-8 minutes before wrapping in the blanket and slightly opening the door yelling "hello hello, is anyone coming?" She came with apologies, coughing and sniffling under her mask. She said it was allergies. She told me I needed to eat more food and asked about my diet and exercise. She was complimenting me, but I didn't like talking about my body and weight and size. Without warning she was kneeling on my back with her legs on my lower back and hands on my shoulders. It felt good, but there was no warning. I was surprised when the blanket was pulled down fast and I felt exposed. If this was my first massage I'd never get another one anywhere. I was able to relax and enjoy eventually, but I felt overwhelmed by the oddities. read more
