Sarah did such an incredible job with my baby girl Scarlett's newborn photos. She was able to fit us in last minute too. I was so impressed with how well she got my two week newborn daughter to pose so still and perfectly. She was so sweet with her, so efficient, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The photoshoot was one of my favorite moments of my life and Sarah made it so memorable and special. The photos turned out so amazing -- I am so blown away. She also sent them to me within less than two weeks and they were absolutely perfect! I had such a hard time finding a photographer who was available last minute and Sarah accommodated my procrastination. And I could not have been happier with the pictures. This review is long overdue! My husband and I have used Sarah for maternity, birth, newborn and a holiday mini session and couldn't be happier! Sarah has been so amazing and we had the best experience having her photograph our home birth. She is such a professional, easy going, reliable and most importantly - talented. We delivered at 11:54pm and she stayed until about 2am to get amazing pictures with our parents and their first look with the baby and she was such a professional we barely noticed she was present. Sarah is now our family photographer and as our son comes up on his first birthday we will be doing our one-year photos with her too! Sarah is absolutely amazing to work with - we loved our newborn session. She is so patient with her mini models and is seriously like a baby whisperer. Given the nature of newborn photos, it would be easy to get nervous about all of the different poses but she is a pro. Our little girl was always safe and Sarah was incredibly gentle in how she posed her. Newborn sessions are long - 3 hours long - and Sarah's easy personality and relaxed demeanor made the session fly by. Her studio is amazing - well lit, warm, and so impressively set up. Sarah and her colleague did a fantastic job in taking photos but also taking care of the baby during the shoot. They have clothes accessories and multiple settings for newborn photos. Cannot recommend Ella Jaymes enough! We brought our newborn son to Sarah and Rhea and were AMAZED that they were able to get him to sleep. My son was a fussy baby and they took GREAT care of him. They are both mothers and it SHOWS. They LOVE babies and babies LOVE them. We joked that they should come home with us just to get him to sleep! Ha-Ha. The photos were flawless! They have adorable props, too. I have their photos all throughout my house and smile every time I see them. I was looking to set up a newborn photo shoot in the new year and started looking online a few months prior. I came across Ella Jaymes Photography primarily on the Yelp reviews, location and the sample photos provided. I was really impressed and contacted Sarah. She was quick to respond. I let her know what I was thinking and I texted her some photos from Pinterest that I wanted to incorporate as well. It was important to me that we hold the shoot at my residence and Sarah said she could accommodate that. Sarah said we would be in contact within the weeks after my daughter was born to set up the apt. My daughter was born 1/19/18 and Sarah and her friend/photographer Rhea came to the house a week and a 1/2 later. They brought all the props, outfits and accessories in line with the vision I had (neutrals, boho, floral, organic) and did such a great job! They were friendly and professional and had all the tricks to calm a fussy baby and not only put her to sleep but keep her asleep to get the best shots! I took my 7 day old son to Ella Jaymes photography for a newborn session and I was blown away! While the look of the building from the outside is a little off putting the studio is beautiful and very spacious. Our photographer, Sarah, was at work long before we arrived creating a cozy environment, making sure the temperature was the perfect degree of warm, and filling the air with soothing sounds from a sleep sound machine. There were an endless supply of props to choose from and watching my little guy get dressed up was priceless! My boyfriend and I affectionately refer to Sarah as the baby whisperer. She was very gentle with our boy wile posing him for his pictures and was able to soothe him back to sleep when he woke up. She worked very fast to get our photos back to us and the website with the proofs was easy to navigate. The quality of the photos is excellent and we will cherish them forever!
