The pretzel, beer cheese, Cuban, and meatquake were all delicious. Perfect place to enjoy a relaxed day or night out!

Me and wife decided on this place for lunch after reading reviews…read more It was pretty busy but you seat yourself. They have both indoor and covered outdoor seating. We sat ourselves and was attended to relatively fast. The menu was a good lunch menu. Several sandwiches salads and burgers. Plus a few other items. We chose to get a pretzel to start and wife got the cbr salad which is a chopped salad with bacon cheese croutons and chicken. She got it fried. I opted for the da brees sandwich which is slow roasted roast beef. I also got my fries the Messi way which has cheese and bacon. Fire. I only wish there was some kind of au jus with the sandwich. I know others come with it but for some reason not this one. Would have made it even better. We were both very pleased with our orders as well as the pretzel. Best pretzel I've had in a long time. This was easily the best lunch we had during our trip here. Highly recommend.

Simple, but solid food. We ordered a pretzel as an appetizer with queso and it was delicious. I got…read morethe CBR salad with fried chicken which was yummy. I got the half size and it was a pretty good portion. The husband got Roast beef sandwich with loaded fries. We enjoyed everything we ordered. You can seat yourself and staff will come to you with menus. We went on Saturday and the atmosphere was lovely. It nicely located in downtown which is convenient. Service was also very good.

We decided to celebrate my birthday a little differently this year and skip the downtown crowds,…read moreopting instead for Milano's Italian Grill, and that turned out to be a great call. With a 20 mile hike ahead of me tomorrow, I figured loading up on carbs was not just justified, it was necessary. We have been here several times, and it truly never disappoints. Tonight was no exception. I did what I tend to do and over ordered. I went with a kids portion of spaghetti and meatballs along with my usual grilled salmon, and both were excellent. The portions were generous enough that I ended up taking about two thirds of the salmon home, which will make for a perfect Sunday lunch. My wife ordered the lasagna. While it was a bit on the soupy side, the flavor more than made up for it. It was still very enjoyable overall. The complimentary bread remains a highlight as always and is perfect for soaking up every last bit on the plate. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, and the total bill came in under 50 dollars. In today's world, with gas pushing 4 dollars a gallon, that is hard to beat. We are leaving once again completely satisfied. Great food, a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, and none of the chaos from downtown. It makes you wonder if the crowds have figured out how good this place is yet or if they are all still on the other side of the river.

Nope. Not it. At all…read more The sugar sweet server gets the deuces. Without her they are a single star event. Kid wanted this for her birthday. Me and C obliged, but should have turned around immediately. That shit doesn't work out well for me, so I just go with it now. Bright lights, hard floors, cheap everything, including the food. Stiff no on all. Busted ass kitchen you can see spilling into the hallway and dining room. We got food at the hotel bar later. I think a lot of people are being too nice or have no idea what good food should taste like, the appropriate texture certain dishes should be, and what decent food tastes like. Tuscaloosa is a good food dessert! Please step up and recommend a place to prove me wrong, because this place sucks for restaurants. The calamari was the worst I've had. Kiddo is used to it being at least ok. Bad. All of the entrees sucked as well. All of them. No real reason to keep bashing. Look at my pictures. Have a good day. ' 25 - excess
