When I called a month before my appointment because of a work conflict, I simply asked if they could move me to a later time that day or another day. Instead of trying to accommodate me, the staff member was rude and essentially told me that if I wanted Dr. Lenar, I would have to wait another six months. I was not asking for special treatment--I was asking for reasonable help with an appointment I had already waited six months to get. The complete lack of effort and customer service was extremely disappointing. It honestly left me feeling that this office is more focused on directing patients toward newer providers and cosmetic services than on respecting what patients actually request. If you specifically want an experienced dermatologist, be prepared to wait--and don't expect much flexibility or help from the front office.

I went to Dr. Bingham for over 20 years and liked him. However, an appointment with him, and not…read morehis PA, were always at least two months out. Then, at that appointment you were guaranteed to wait at least 30-60 minutes before being seen. The result of being a good doctor I guess and those two things I could tolerate. It was his office staff that caused me to never return. Twice they scheduled me and when I showed up, I wasn't on the schedule and they weren't apologetic at all. I was SOL unless I wanted wait to see his PA after the loaded waiting room had been seen. With my commute being 50 minutes to his office, I was not happy to say the least. It wasn't until I wrote a letter to Dr. Bingham telling him of my experience that I received numerous apologetic phone messages saying they would happily fit me in the next day, but I was done. Another thing, his PA did an excessive biopsy on my daughter's beautiful leg to diagnosis, which it didn't, the cause of a stubborn rash. Instead of simply scraping it, she got out the melon ball scooper. Now my daughter has a scar the size of a quarter that looks like she was deeply burned with the tip of a cigar (pictures below). She would have preferred the rash. I've had skin cancers surgically removed that left less of a scar. That biopsy also caused an infection that spread down her leg and the office staff and nurse, once again, didn't care and dismissed it saying, "It looks normal." She went to urgent care and they were shocked his office did not prescribe her an antibiotic. I am not confident I will find a better dermatologist with a more competent office staff, but I will at least find one closer to home. The state of our so-called "health-care" system is sad. If you need a dermatologist, I wish you luck! We are all in the same sinking boat.

(Back then not much effective treatment available as today) iI had an appointment w/ Dr.T in two weeks but my condition got so bad especially on my face that even my face ID started failing on me. Then I met with Dalet briefly after Carmen left. Dalet went over all the details again and thoroughly explained the process. She was very professional and pleasant. Then Lena took over for the rest of the times. Lena was very helpful, detail-oriented, and kind. She was also very meticulous and made sure I had everything I needed at each visit. She prepared the room neatly and made it cozy before I came, with all my favorites (TV channel, beverage, blanket, etc.). Thank you Lena for being so caring. You're awesome! I paid 5k in treatments for minor acne scarring to have my skin completely ruined…read more I came to Dr. Darji with minor acne scarring and some active hormonal acne. I was very clear that I wanted to have my acne cleared before starting the treatments and she explicitly said that she is confident that they can treat the scarring with where my acne was at. I also told her that I was preparing for my upcoming wedding. She performed 2 rounds of v beam and fraxel laser on me. The first session went fine. After the second session I began developing large cystic bumps all over my face exactly 2 days after treatment. The acne has persisted ever since the treatment and it has been a full month. I am reading now that the most recent data is showing that fraxel should not be performed on active hormonal acne as it can worsen it... There were many red flags with this provider along the way; one time she came in the room and asked me how my spirolactone was going, which was a medication that I was not taking... maybe she was confusing me with another patient, but for such expensive treatments, you would expect your doctor to at least know what they prescribed to you. If you have hormonal acne DO NOT GO TO DR DARJI. She is not competent in hormonal acne treatment. I deeply wish I had left my skin alone, it was in such a better place before going to OC Derm and I wasted $5,000 between the treatments and the products she recommended. The most upsetting experience I have ever had with a provider. I will say, her assistant, Celeste, is an absolute rockstar and an amazing and very kind person to work with. The office manager was not; she was unfriendly and honestly a bit rude.
