The class I went to was full of people that were either experienced fighters or had been to classes before, so I was out of my depth quite a bit and alone in my out-of-depthness. The coach was great at helping with form, where to keep my weight etc, and the woman I was working with was really helpful at teaching me to keep my face protected and how to move my whole body to effectively punch and kick. I really liked this place and will hopefully be able to head there more often. For men - there are heaps of guys who attend there, and for women - I trained with at least ten. Good turnout, good coaches, and hopefully good things to come!

The gym seems to have changed and most of the Thais have moved on. There isn't as much attention paid to each individual (a few participants - usually women- might get some advice) anymore, most classes feel very formulaic and repetitive, and trainers will often spend time on their phone, on the bag or chatting. I think they need more focus on attention to clients, building technique and diversifying the classes.

When I discovered that the gym was tucked away under a popular food court and Asian supermarket; I was down the escalator and to the desk to sign up. I think a few may think a gym under a food court; is this not tempting? Well it didn't bother me, and once I got involved in all the different classes they have I couldn't care less about the greasy food upstairs. The trainers at the gym are fit and really inspire you to be like them. I enrolled in Zumba, Kick Boxing, Yoga, Pilates and even small circuit boxing, and enjoyed every second of the 1 hour classes. The gym has an area dedicated to weight lifting, a women's only section, a cardio room, and boxing circuit room, and a spin class room. Why not try out a different class, you may just love it like I realized. If your body is feeling the strains of being active, there is an onsite massage therapist and a beauty therapy studio as well. I really got a kick out of this gym!
