He told me they just needed to finish another job before coming to mine. After more than a week passed with no communication, I began calling again on June 29. Over the next couple of weeks, I spoke with the answering service several times and was told each time that someone would call me back. No one ever did. I also left multiple voicemail messages through July 13, and none of them were returned. Today, July 15, I have Strongman Tree Service scheduled to do the work because I simply couldn't wait any longer. My disappointment isn't about the price--it's about the complete lack of communication and follow-through. If Above All wasn't interested in taking on a smaller job or was too busy, I would have appreciated being told that. Instead, I was left waiting and wondering. Based on my experience, I can't recommend Above All Tree Service. They may be a well-established company with plenty of trucks around town, but good customer service starts with keeping customers informed. It wasn't subbed out or a salesman sells us on it then a crew of people I've never met show up. It was the owner, doublechecking every step along the way making sure things are right and we are thrilled. So, backing up, we had a 25' x 16' patio put in including a rock wall and fire pit and some flower beds. It took 3 weeks, which I would say would be the only thing I could find fault in was how long it took, but at the end of it all, the work was done right the first time and it looks awesome.
