Gabe took time to educate us on our slot machine and what it was worth and where to sell it. Also, what it would take for them to buy it. Took a lot of time with us and wanted to ensure we received the value it's worth even if they don't buy it. read more

The selection of games were good, but when we went to play some of the arcade games we had to buy a card with credit on it. We purchased the $5 card which gave us 16 credits. When we swiped the card to play the games, they never started. The laser and zombie games continued to devour the credits. We asked a worker for help and he said he couldn't do anything. He proceeded to walk away from us putting in air buds. The $5 card was an absolute waste of money and they refused to refund the money when the card never worked. Never returning. read more

From the Business

Meet the Business Owner: John R.

Owner, John Russo, can be described as a pinball entrepreneur and even a pinball wizard. Against the back wall of Elite Home Gamerooms is a chronological collection of over 20 pinball machines where the front part of the showroom showcases magnificently appointed billiard tables, pub tables, juke boxes and arcade games. This is the newest of Russo's business endeavors and on October 11th they celebrated in style with their grand opening. Russo's love for games started as a child's passion for arcades, first seeing a game room at a friends basement in New York in 1987. "I bought one game, sold it and used the money to buy two more." Russo recalls that when the collection spread from the dining room to the living room to his sons' bedroom, a store was born. "My hobby soon became a labor of love. I didn't plan on it, but a business was born."

Carlos was so fun and energetic with them adding to a fun time. It was hot today but not as bad as summer heat, some areas with good shade while playing. We were able to play quickly since it wasn't too busy and the grounds are super well kept. I kept thinking to myself how clean everything looked on the greens of each hole. Typically we mini golf in the colder months and tend to hit up the other Bonita course south of here, but seeing how much better quality the course was, we will be making Congo River Golf our go to place for when family and friends visit. My daughters kept asking about the Gemstone experience they have so that will be on our next visit. Thanks again Carlos for all the wonderful service, I didn't even notice that the age for a free round is 4 and under and that was a great catch when supporting the staff member that rang us up.
