I've trained with Alton Jue at Elite Edge many times over the years, and I would recommend him without hesitation. The first time I trained with Alton, I saw a noticeable improvement in my shot groups within about 45 minutes. Not a small improvement either. It was obvious. What I think Alton does better than a lot of instructors is that he actually watches what you're doing and figures out what is causing the problem. Then he gives you a correction that makes sense and helps you work through it. He's not just standing there telling you to shoot more rounds. He's coaching you the entire time. If you listen to him and apply what he's telling you, you can usually see the difference pretty quickly. Alton also brings years of law enforcement and firearms training experience to the table, including SWAT experience and work Instructing with more than one law enforcement academy. He knows what he's doing, and that comes through pretty quickly when you train with him. Alton is pretty low-key. He's professional, patient, and focused on helping the student improve. Phenomenal instruction. So very fortunate to have such a high caliber instructor in rural Wyoming. As a lifetime practitioner of martial arts, LEO and training I can with confidence say AJ is the best in the west. He met me where I was at and improved my skills and abilities to increase my confidence, speed, accuracy and knowledge on a variety of weapon platforms.
