Must have so much business that you don't need more. Oh wait, you are on FB constantly so you're clearly not busy, just lazy. Missed calls are obvious and I only had one from you, not multiple. Saying different just proves your dishonesty. Why didn't you leave a message to further making an appointment to get the work done? I reached out on Messenger and you said "we don't work weekends". You said you'd reach out Monday, but never did. I contacted you on a Wednesday and tried again on Saturday. All goes well until you want a second opinion on a potential $2 - $5,000 transmission issue. Here's the only reason I got a second opinion, Justin Galvan, owner did not have the modern technology/computer to test the computer system in my GMC-Sierra 2500 SLT, period. He said it had nothing to do with the transmission, not true. Then said if he got the computer I'd have to pay for it? What...it's a piece of equipment that he'd continue to use in his shop. That's when I made the decision to have a transmission shop in COS give me a second opinion. Justin got very defensive with me and told me how highly trained he was which I never questioned; if I did I would not of taken my truck to him in the first place I do my research. He compared my 28-year career and experience to his, basically saying how dare I question him and take advice from anyone else?? Who says that? It wasn't about him; I needed ALL the information available to make the best decision for me. Treating your customers professionally with respect (customer service) is everything and I will never back down from doing my own research, asking questions and making the decision to do what's right for me. No matter how a vendor is pressuring me. I recommend you do the same. I actually wanted to give Justin (local mechanic) my business on some other things related to the truck but he continued with accusations that weren't true, told me he'd have to think about it, completely disrespecting me a second time. Anytime you move from one state to another you leave behind your own team of professionals that you've managed to build for the last eighteen years. So you find yourself in a new place all alone and needing to build a new dream team. Following my move to Colorado, I managed to get my car stuck going up my driveway. After it was pulled out it seemed to exacerbate a problem in the front end of the car. I had paid an exorbitant amount to fix this exact problem before moving. I wanted to make sure the vehicle was road worthy for the 1,400 mile journey ahead. So, not knowing where to go or who to trust I called my nephew who said, "just call Justin at Elite Diesel Performance, here's his number." Trusting my nephew I called and had my Volkswagen towed to Justin that morning. A week later he called me after diagnosing the problem. Everything he told me was spot on to what I suspected was wrong and thought I had already fixed. Anyway, he told me how much the repair would be and I was pleased that it was half of what I was expecting to pay. Exactly a week later the work was done and the only difficult part was finding his shop since my GPS stopped working and I had no idea just how far a country road will take you. So make sure to follow his directions to the letter and you will find it too. After picking up my Volkswagen I was stunned. The car runs and rides better than when it was brand new in 2010. The repair was worth every penny and so is the relationship I have with my new mechanic. Justin is extremely knowledgeable, honest and is a blessing. There isn't anyone else that I trust with all of our vehicles. Justin is in the middle of restoring to roadworthiness an old 85' Suburban that was my Dad's. I will say this man is busy and repairs take a few weeks but he is absolutely worth the wait. Just be patient and know that once your vehicle has been repaired by him you will not be disappointed. My 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 began blowing smoke and my check engine light came on during my drive home from Colorado Springs. I pulled over to the side of the road as soon as I could. It was late evening of Labor Day week-end and I could not get tow service until the next day. I had been given a card for Elite Diesel Performance a month or so earlier so I called and spoke with Justin and the tow company delivered my truck to him that afternoon. I spoke with Justin after it was delivered and he said the issues sounded like the injector(s) had a problem. He would do the inspection and get back with me. After the inspection Justin called and told me the problems and his suggestions, It was the injector(s) and I decided to go ahead and replace all 6 of them at this time rather than waiting for each to fail separately. Justin also recommended I add a fuel lift pump to help keep my injectors from having issues too soon in the future - I did do a little research because I'd never owned a diesel before and wasn't convinced I needed to do that. After a bit of research I called Justin back and he explained why he recommends the fuel lift pumps and he made sense to me. Justin was able to give a cost for the work to be done whether I did injectors only or injectors and fuel lift pump. I have just picked up my truck this afternoon and I am confident if I have any issues Justin will stand by his work. Justin was very easy to talk to, had no issue explaining the why's of what things were, he even told me which filters I should be using. As I am able to build some funds back up I will be taking my 1956 Ford tractor head in for some work and the ball bearings on my truck replaced. The quote he had given me for the work to be done on my Dodge 3500 was spot on!! Actually a little lower. I appreciate no hidden charges on my final bill.
