It has…read morebeen so difficult to find clean, well-maintained and beautiful resorts that allow our large dogs to stay with us and we are so happy that we've found this place! We stayed at Cabin 10 (The Ranger Station) and had the most gorgeous views of the Ozarks and Beaver Lake. The cabin has a pretty large porch with two rocking chairs, a small side table, and a swinging bench. We enjoyed quite a few mimosas out there listening to the sounds of nature! Instead was a full kitchen (the refrigerator worked perfectly- our champagne stayed nice and cold!) with a little dining area. We loved that they included a doggy bag of treats for our large dogs, that was so thoughtful! The living room had a nice set up with a large couch, chair, and a few tables. The TV got a few channels but we really only watched movies that we borrowed from the office's extensive movie collection (seriously such a HUGE selection!). The bed was extremely comfortable and with two nightstands/dressers and two closets, we had way more room for clothes and extras that we needed! The bathroom was huge with a large shower and GIANT two person whirlpool bathtub. The bathtub overlooked the gorgeous view outside and was by far my favorite part of the cabin. The resort is like 10-15 minutes from Eureka Spring's historic downtown with tons of shopping and restaurants. We recommend doing the historic trolley tour (although we are history nerds, so your mileage may vary!). The owners and the property manager were so genuinely kind, helpful, and hospitable. We cannot wait to return!!

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to be. Firstly, the view is spectacular all year round…read more Secondly the little cabins are perfect for families and couples. The cabins are a perfect getaway from the busy world. The cabins are also pet friendly too on the inside and outside. Sit back and relax in the swinging chairs looking at the sunset of the beautiful Eureka Springs Mountain View Or stay inside with a movie and a fire on a brisk night as they collect firewood for you. And choose from one of their hundreds upon hundreds of movie selections. Love this place and you will too

This facility has…read morealways had a stellar reputation in the community, but the physical improvements this Not-for-profit facility has made in the last few years has really added to what the facility can offer our community! More upgrade are currently underway, including a new therapy center to help those Baby Boomers get back into their active lifestyle after getting those knees, shoulders, and hips replaced! As always the care provided by the staff is top notch!

Director of nursing should consider consulting with family before giving medications because they…read moremessed up on medications on my father and gave him nicotine patches 7 mg without my dad even being a smoker. My father rarely used Copenhagen and when he did it was a very small amount that he used off and on during the day but 7 mg was way too high for the amount of Copenhagen he used in a week let alone in one day so he was overdosed not to mention the other medications that they messed up but they justified it because they said that their doctor ordered it but they should have checked. Assuming you know something is not being accurate it is putting a person's life in danger when you give them Jordans and they're not supposed to be on it and removing their eliquis when they're supposed to be on it. Take the time to find out what's right and don't push away family who has medical lists for those family members who have been on for years. People have allergies. People have just different side effects to different medications or just whatever. They can have severe heartburn because of some of the ingredients in the medications so listen to the families and quit being evil and be more open because their Medicare and Medicaid pays for those medications so why be so rude and just let the patients have what they're used to instead of controlling everything. The nursing staff turned in to my dad's insurance that he didn't feel like doing rehabilitation but after you put a patch on him that was 7 mg and he wasn't used to nicotine of that dosage he didn't feel good and he said he didn't feel good and it was your fault. You tried to take his staples out early and that was your fault too. They were getting infected because you didn't clean them. The aides and the other people who work there did their jobs it was just those administration nurses.

I was on liquid handcuffs for 12 years at STC and today I am 21 days clean from methadone, and…read moredetoxed without the help of STC. I underwent a detox program beautifully. I am so grateful for the new frontier ahead of me. Off liquid Handcuffs. For 12 years, it was like Groundhogs Day. Wake up, already in withdrawal, take dose, sweat all day, and then there's a slow, painful titration period of just feeling more like crap every hour until you next dose. After a a while (years in) methadone starts metabolizing far quicker, leaving you in withdrawal in the middle of the day. It's a terrible way to continue on living, and MED MARK and Springdale Treatment Center do not care about you. Not a great deal, and despite a few decent counselors here and there, you're still under rule by dictator-like rules, not even entertaining patients concerns, only wanting to keep patients coming in to spend their little money on methadone. Appropriate, as Methadone was invented by a chemist in Hitler's regime. They blew through their morphine, so they invented methadone to keep his Nazi soldiers comfortably addicted. After the Vietnam war, Methadone clinics started popping up in the states to treat soldiers coming back addicted to heroin. In the 1990's, heroin was on the rise again, so more clinics opened. And now we have private companies opening clinics like STC to make money on those hopelessly addicted. It's now owned and operated by MedMark (previously owned by The Riverwood Group). The doctor, Thomas Atkinson has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I have made efforts with state officials to improve this. However, during several of my annual physicals, Atkinson would tell hideous stories about how he hates his wife and dogs. He vents his toxic nonsense to his patients, using explicit language, and an overall negative, attitude. Note, this isn't playful venting. Each year I went in he was less than interested in how my dose was. #liquidhandcuffs They only care about your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Let's start from the beginning. I called Friday and I spoke with Mr. Neil about getting switched…read morefrom suboxone to methadone. I knew right then that I was making the right choice. He made my nervous self feel comfortable! I came in on Monday to do my intake and I was greeted with open arms. The girl who checks you in up front had such an inviting smile on her face, she was so kind, patient, and helpful. Next I meet Ms. Tina. This woman is an angel on earth. She is the director and let me tell you.. she isn't here for the money and it isn't "just a job" to her. This woman truly cares and wants you to succeed and she will do everything along with her staff to help you in your recovery journey. I then meet a nurse and the Dr! The nurse was incredibly helpful and nice as well. Everyone had a smile on their face and they didn't act like they hated their job. The doctor has first hand experience and he knows exactly what we are going through and how we feel. He genuinely cares as well and wants you to get your life on track. He knows what he is doing and is very intelligent. Please just be honest with everything when you come to this clinic. I promise they only want to help you. I know I sound like a broken record but I have never been to a place like this one where all the staff cares. Jeremy is one of the counselors and he is such a great guy too. He of course cares and is easy to talk to. Like I said just be honest because that's how you're truly going to get better. Jeremy will do everything he can to help you in your sobriety. If you're reading this and was hesitant before to come in. Don't be! You will feel welcome and will feel better. The first step is reading this. Now make the call to better yourself. I believe in you and we do recover!! It will be worth it and I can guarantee you won't find a better clinic that cares more about you then this place. Thank you to the staff at MedMark!!
