If I could give a 10/10 I would. Came to Myrtle beach for a vacation and since I had been talking about getting my Daith pierced for over a year, my husband and I decided why not now. We did our research and thank you Yelp for the reviews. Family friends who are local even recommended a couple of places. It was honestly a tough choice between Elite and Professional Piercing by Jackie. I was very happy to see that both had pricing available online instead of being shady and hiding it so that you ACTUALLY had to show up to find out prices, sorry not sorry to every other tattoo/piercing studio in Myrtle but I like to know what I'm getting into. The kicker? Elite includes the price of the jewelry, like most shops do and frankly should as well as the whole "numbing for extra fee" was desperately unappealing. (If it's that big of a deal, Walgreens/CVS have the same benzocaine/lidocaine gel for a lot less and really? Without an injection of it, the inside of the piercing area will STILL feel a needle going through it) Elite offers prices that are comparable to larger cities even on the west coast and you aren't getting suckered just because you're in a tourist area. After much talk and deliberation, seriously we spent a lot of time going over places to not just have a knee jerk reaction, we said Elite. We walked in, okay I practically ran in since the parking lot was filling up and I worry about wait times, there really was no need. The staff is absolutely professional and the wait times were truly next to nothing. ID is required and while waiting to get paperwork filled out we watched a lot of parents come in for their teenagers. I was amazed at how courteous they were to first timers and explaining SC law which requires a parent, ID, and if they don't have the same last name, also a birth certificate. Brittany is amazing! She let me have a little time to calm my nerves, and was very personable. Unlike some places I've been they have separate rooms for each piercer and not just curtains hung about for a feeling of privacy. She marked the spot, and let me double check it before sitting down. It was quick, not completely painless, it's a Daith after all, but quick and after the initial shock of the piercing it didn't hurt at all. She was great! Would absolutely go back again. read more

I went in here for a basic cartilage piercing, and I don't regret it! I made sure to do some research, I messaged them on Facebook and definitely got all of the answers I needed! I asked if there were any hidden fees and if the total would be jewelry and piercing. It was a little pricy for a small piercing but you obviously get what you pay for!!! The guy behind the counter picked up that I was nervous and made sure to distract me and get me comfortable. I was in the chair in no time. The girl asked me to approve the spot, it was perfect. She told me that it was going to be a little pinch and then it's over. And really that's all it was! The whole time being in there was about 10 minutes! I've had the piercing for about a week now. It's healing very very well. I have had no issues, just the regular healing stuff. ALSO if you have a nickel allergy, the basic jewelry is surgical steal, very very small amount of nickel but if you want to be sure to not have a reaction, you can get a different piece for about $10 more with absolutely no nickel in it! I've gotten pretty much all of my piercings done here and haven't had a bad experience, EVER. Everyone is laid back and easy to talk to. The prices are fair and worth every penny. I'm not usually scared to get a piercing but I remember being TERRIFIED of getting my septum done back in 2017 (either by Leeor or Guy, I can't remember) and they made it so much less scary! It didn't hurt one bit, not even exaggerating. I had a friend tell me about her nightmare experience getting her septum done elsewhere - and I consider myself lucky to have got mine here! They are all so knowledgeable and passionate about their craft - and it shows. They are very thorough in explaining all of the process - from walking you through what they're doing while piercing you to explaining aftercare. I love coming here for my all of my piercing related needs while I'm in town. They are pretty much always super busy - for good reason - but they're good about getting walk ins taken care of as well. I highly recommend making an appointment if you can, though. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or visiting! read more

might be a lengthy read, but totally worth it my friend and i were on vacation and decided we were going to get our septum's pierced on our last day. since we aren't from the area, of course the first thing we do is search on yelp. this was the number one listed place, and there's a reason for that! i have pretty bad anxiety, so i wanted to make sure they were going to make me feel as comfortable and safe as possible, especially with the pandemic going on. needless to say that they went above and beyond. Guy was our piercer, and he did amazing. he laughed, sang, and did everything he could to make us feel as comfortable as possible. he even let us wear our masks around our mouths while he did the piercings. Everyone at the front desk was super nice and friendly, and they had excellent social distancing rules put in place. My only bad thing to say is that we had to pay before we got the piercings, so i had no idea how much to tip Guy. i would've tipped him more if we would've paid after!! read more

This is an amazing place for anyone looking at getting a piercing! I came here to get my ears pierced and my septum pierced by Mary who is amazing. I'd been scared to get pierced after I had my ears pierced three times at Claire's. Mary and the other woman at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. They let me choose the jewelry I would be getting pierced with and explained everything involved in the piercing process as well as aftercare. The final price was cheaper than I expected and very fair for what I got pierced. They don't use any piercing guns and are trained. They also have alternative jewelry options for metal allergies without an upcharge for metals like titanium. They're also willing to change jewelry for free as well as teach you how to yourself. They also reopen piercings for cheap. For example, reopening ear lobe piercings is only $15 for both ears. read more

I was talking to my friend about where to get a piercing when an employee of the store I was in overheard me and recommended Elite. I'm so glad I took her advice because I had a great experience. It was cheaper than anywhere else I looked, and it was done quick even though they were busy. I was pretty anxious, but they were very reassuring and nice. The piercing (belly button) was even relatively painless and is healing nicely. I also wanted to say that I overheard one of the employees on the phone and he was completely honest in telling a very young girl that the piercing she wanted would be really painful and hard to heal. So the employees seem to really have integrity and care about their customers. His advice may have lost them a customer, but he was truthful and perhaps prevented someone from getting a piercing that would be too much for them to handle. read more

We came by today to get 2 nose piercings done for the people with me, and my industrial done. The staff were beyond friendly, very personable and not freaky looking like you get at some piercing places. We all felt very welcome and would highly recommend, the place was super clean and they made you very aware of what they were doing before they did it. Took time to make you feel comfortable even though the waiting room was packed, although they were personable they got people in and out quickly no one was waiting long. They were very very clean I cannot stress enough or how easy going they all were. I would definitely go back without a doubt my experience couldn't have been better! read more

My friend and I went to get our second lobe done, and took our guy friend to get both his ears pierced. We were really nervous at first, but the second we walked in we greeted by two guys at the front. We really wish we could've chatted more and remembered their names (we're so sorry lmao). Had a chest dermal placed today. 'Check in' and payment was quick and easy. There were 3 people in front of me and it took less than 30 minutes for my wait. I was nervous that they wouldn't take their time in an explanation of the service or the after piercing care BUT that was no issue... I'm a registered nurse and watched her prep - by the book with sterility! Explanation of services and after care given and she gave a hand out in case I forget - all without request. Also, felt a little dizzy and she let me lie on the table until I felt better- no rush although there were a few people waiting behind me. She really took the appropriate time on me! I did a lot of research before deciding to go to Elite for my latest piercings. I wanted a clean place with a good reputation and a knowledgeable piercer and that's exactly what I got. Their website is FILLED with info as well as A's to any Q's you may have so I definitely recommend checking it out. I had my double helix (right ear) and my second lobe (both ears) pierced in one sitting. Leeor was awesome- funny, friendly and laid back. I wanted to get my upper cartilage pierced this week and after reading numerous positive reviews, I decided to come here. I can get kind of squeamish and nervous about these kinds of things, but the employees were very friendly and funny and quickly put me at ease. I own property here in Myrtle Beach and visit about every 6-8 weeks. I had knee surgery 6 weeks ago and was required to remove my ear piercings. They hadn't closed but the originals were difficult to get back in. I chose Elite because of the great reviews. Guy, the owner with little effort was able to put them in. He is fantastic! I came in looking at getting my daughters nose pierced, I had questions of course. The place was very clean. Guy and his brother were amazing. Took their time with us making sure we had the right type of jewelry because of her nickel allergy and all of questions were answered. This was amazing! My piercing was a nostril piercing and was a good as they come. He helped calm me down as I got it and I couldn't be happier with the service I got. It was quick wait even though there were several people there and everything was EXTREMELY sanitary. My piercing was casual but still maintained a professional air when piercing. Took my girlfriend and sister for their first piercings. They got nose and belly piercings. Had Miss Kaya, she was absolutely phenomenal! Gave them amazing advice, and took great care of them.
