I also want to thank everybody who answered the phone and worked at the desks in the reception area at check-in and for scheduling. There are so many that I rather not say individual names at this time in fear leaving somebody out unintentionally but I certainly want to give kudos to Oscar and Edgar who I almost always checked in with as I was checking out actually because they would schedule my following appointments at checkout. Everybody you meet there will be kind to you and of course you will show them respect!! i've been discharged because I've progressed well and my Medicare expired, but I will be going back early winter for more advanced therapy as my osteoporosis starts to reverse after my injection plan which starts within weeks. I look forward to seeing them again. Thank you HSS. I most highly recommend this world renowned HSS, Manhattan. I'm sure all the other branches are great also but I'm focusing on Manhattan because that's the only one I knowon 70th St., York Avenue. It's also right next to the actual NYP Cornell hospitals so very convenient and you can make two appointments same day! Wishing good health & blessings to all I've mentioned above plus Dr Brian Page and his ass't Brian also! Barbara T. UES

Elevators are slow and open different sides depending on the floor. Not every doctor has a post-appointment helper at that site - some call you back. They have MRI and x-ray machines here and top-notch staff. Inside the hallways aren't all straight - a lot of angles and turns, and not always easy to find the right room/space but the nurses are super helpful. Doctors, somewhat less so and only a few minutes before they recommended another appointment. It's very busy, though, and a lot of waiting or time between appointments since there's a lot of people seeing the doctors. They also have a number of sister sites, including one in NJ across the bridge.

To make it short, he is THE best doctor!! We live in Florida, and after my son suffered a severe…read morewrist injury, ruptured and torn in every possible way, we spent nearly ten months going from doctor to doctor in the state of Florida. Unfortunately, the care and treatment we received were disappointing and at times even dismissive. Determined to find the very best, we looked beyond Florida, and that is how we found Dr. Jason S. Pruzansky, MD, in New York City. From the first consultation through surgery and follow-up care, Dr. Pruzansky was extraordinary. He is incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough, always taking the time to explain every detail and answer all of our questions. His professionalism and expertise gave us the confidence and peace of mind we had been searching for. Yes, we fly to New York City for every appointment, but the quality of care and the trust we have in Dr. Pruzansky make it absolutely worth it, especially when it comes to your child's health. The entire team, from the front desk to the clinical staff, is warm, welcoming, and helpful. They make the process smooth and supportive. All in all, our experience has been perfect. I can recommend Dr. Jason S. Pruzansky and his team to anyone who wants the very best care!

I went for help with a trigger finger. I knew there was something wrong when the dr's assistant,…read morewho came to ask me some basic questions, suddenly left in a hurry when I told her I had xrays of my hand done by an orthopedist 3 days before and asked if I could have them sent to the office. The doctor came in, touched two fingers, and said I needed an xray. I asked him if I could call the orthopedist and have them sent over. He asked, "How do you think they will get them to me?" in a highly condescending tone. I said they'd probably email them. He insisted that would be low quality, and he'd need them on a CD. I said fine, I'd go get him the CD. He said he wouldn't be able to read them and insisted I get xrays in his office. I told him the other doctor had ruled out all the issues he wanted to see on the xray. When he learned I had spoken to the orthopedist's assistant (who was 100 times more thorough examining my hand and giving me a cortisone shot than he was), he got extremely condescending and implied that she wasn't qualified to rule out everything, and his mocking tone and laugh implied he thought that I was a fool to have let her give me a cortisone shot. (By the way, that shot worked fantastically well.) To add insult - he looked at the xrays he forced me to re-do on his iPad! I felt conned. $300 for duplicate xrays! And they were a complete repeat of what I had 3 days before. As expected, he confirmed everything I already knew from the orthopedist assistant, so I guess she is qualified after all. Then he diagnosed me with a hereditary condition! From an xray! I really wanted an MRI to see the tendons not the bones since, as I told him, the tendons were bothering me, and he said, "I can write you a script, but the diagnosis won't change!" in a tone that implied I was an idiot for requesting an MRI. He said I should come back in a month. I will never step foot in his office again. No doctor should treat a patient with such a lack of respect. Be warned!
