History

Established in 2016.

Elevated Shredding was born from the mission of the owners, husband and wife Jen and Joe Vance to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. There is also a strong need in our community for the types of document and data destruction services provided by Elevated Shredding.

Meet the Business Owner: Jen V.

Jen has been a Flagstaff resident for almost 20 years. She has a teaching degree and has been a classroom teacher in Ohio, Florida, Phoenix and here in Flagstaff. Jen and her husband, Joe, started Elevated Shredding after identifying a need for locally owned, secure shredding services in Northern Arizona. They quickly achieved AAA NAID Certified status and take great pride in the secure, professional and friendly document shredding and data destruction services offered. While starting Elevated Shredding, Jen and Joe also founded Strides 2 Thrive, an agency providing services to adults with developmental disabilities including job training and employment services. Elevated Shredding is proud to offer employment opportunities in Flagstaff for individuals with developmental disabilities and their non-disabled peers.
