We needed a professional opinion on a possible structural issue with our relatively new home. To…read moremake a long story short the issue ended up being more of a cosmetic defect and overall poor attention to detail on the part of our builder. Eric was very professional and knowledgeable, but what impressed me the most was that I felt as if a family friend was over to guide me on the best course of action. Eric was very personable and wanted to make sure I understood what was taking place and that things were safe for my family. He also went the extra mile to check out some other common issues with things like the furnace and had some recommendations on what to look out for. Im not the 'review type' but I had such a positive experience I had to write something up. I will be recommending pillar to post to all of my friends and family. A word of advise to any new home buyers... get a home inspection! For those with new construction at the very least get your 11month warranty inspection. Thank you Eric and Pillar to Post!

He was very accommodating, willing to do inspections on evenings or weekends. Once the inspection was done, he had the report back to us that evening. it was a new construction and even so, he remained very thorough and found a number of areas that needed to be fixed. Cost of our inspection was $375 for home that's less than 2000 square feet. This was pretty in line with what we found when we called around and for the convenience, it was worth it. He also gave us an evacuation plan and for folk in his area, has information about who to call to get utilities hooked up - for those in Yakima, he unfortunately was unable to get us this info. He gets the five star bump for the quick turn around and his flexibility. Definitely a good one to check out when you need an inspection.

Ron did such a thorough, detailed job all those years ago that there was no question that he was the guy for the job. Back then he was the only guy on the crew; he now has 2 or 3 others. That, my friends, is a testimony to the value of NPI! This new property is recently fully renovated and has been a rental for a few years, so I expected a pretty clean report. Ron himself came out, looked over the property, climbed on the roofs, took lots of photos, poked and prodded, and did, indeed find a few items of concern. He ran us through his findings and that afternoon we had the report in hand. NPI are the folks to hire for any inspections!
