Instead, the woman who answered the phone was incredibly kind and empathetic, and she went back to see what bands they had in stock. There were 4 kinds, and since I didn't know the specific kind I needed, she said she would put all 4 bags up by the front desk. My daughter went to pick them up, immediately recognized the kind she needed, and I went to pay... No charge! This is the kind of professional, friendly, empathic care that used to exist in small towns, and I thought was a thing of the past. Thank you to everyone there! I called the offices of Ryan Grady, DDS, at the dentistry center the next morning. I was offered an appointment that afternoon. Dr. Grady did a great job putting my veneer back on. I was in and out of the office in 45 minutes. It was such a treat to put my ski boots back on (they offer slippers for use in the office) walk back out to Chair Seven, put my skis back on and continue my lovely day of skiing.

While traveling to Telluride, I overdid it and triggered an old injury in my back. The pain was so…read morebad that I could not stand up straight or walk. I regularly get acupuncture at home in Philadelphia so I knew immediately I needed to find an acupuncturist in Telluride. After some online research, I called LuvLight and left a voicemail. Jane called me back within an hour and scheduled me for that evening. The office was very easy to find, located within a shared building on S. Pine Street. Jane is very friendly and welcoming. I felt extremely comfortable in the space and in her presence. She assessed my pain, asking questions to better understand. She explained her plan for my treatment and we got started! I found that the room had a consistently comfortable temperature. I loved Jane's us of sound healing and the suggested meditations she offered to focus my mind on something besides the pain in my back. At the end of my appointment, Jane provided me with some supplies to get me through the rest of the day until I could come back for another appointment the next morning. Since my pain continued to decrease with each visit, Jane and I agreed I should come daily while I was still in town so I could prepare my body for the upcoming flight back home. It has been almost a week since I first saw Jane at LuvLight and I am in a far better place than I would have been without her. I am now mobile, walking and standing up straight with less pain. I came in and asked for the same day massage and was recommended a deep stretch in the salt cave. As I was trying to move my work meetings around to accommodate a treatment, the front desk said cost is $115 for deep stretch for 45 min then as I was waiting for a text back from my boss, she suggested I do the infrared sauna before hand to be warm. She didn't say it was an add on or provide the cost of the add on. It seemed like she was trying to sweeten the deal to convince me to schedule so once I confirmed I could be available (my boss texted me back), I verbally confirmed with her the price would be $115 plus 20% gratuity. Fast forward to check out after the services were completed, the screen flipped around to reveal $246 including 20% gratuity on both services (also 20% gratuity on a sauna service where the only interaction was showing me to the room where the sauna was-absurd!) . Of course I said something because I specifically confirmed with her a price that was less than half of what I was being charged. The owner comes out and engages the conversation saying that she would review the camera and that she must pay her providers. "Totally understand I'm happy to pay but the price is not what was agreed upon."- my response. I specifically verbally confirmed because it seemed like a great deal. Waiting on camera footage to prove I'm not lying now. Quick way to undo the incredible treatment I just received. Word of advice, book online if you book here at all but for $246 I would recommend going literally anywhere else. Hoping after the owner reviews the camera footage, she will honor the price discussed. I know it's 2025 but if you can't rely on someone's word, probably shouldn't be giving them your business.
