We moved across the country, and as a newly married couple, we realized we had very different financial views. Online budgeting tools and apps had never worked for either of us separately in the past. It was causing a great deal of stress, and we wanted to get on the same page ASAP before we were in any financial trouble. We started seeing her in person August 2019, and had our last session with her in November 2020 (through Zoom of course)- so over a year! She was a perfect fit. Lisa helped us get a clear picture of how our money was being spent. She taught us how to use that knowledge to understand and manage our financial situation. Our sessions spanned across several areas- some of which included: personal finance, emotions and beliefs related to money and spending, planning for a buying a house, and even relationship coaching. We were also very impressed by how much she knows about regulations, tax law, and mortgages. It was very obvious she cared about us and wanted us to succeed with our hopes and goals. The relationship was a two-way street; the 3 of us worked together versus her just spewing advice and information at us. She never missed an appointment, was always on time and prepared, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We miss our sessions with her! But she gave us all the tools we need to continue this journey on our own. Thank you so much :) Kristen & John

My husband is a musician who does lots of gig/freelance work and we wanted to get professional eyes on our taxes as our situation has become more complex. We had an intro call with Sandy who assured us she could help with our situation. We then decided to take the next step and provided all of our documents within their portal on March 3rd. After submitting we heard nothing back from them for weeks and so we called towards the end of the month to check in. When we did this they only then started asking us for additional documents and wanted us to reformat all profits and losses within their specific document formats despite us already providing these 4 weeks prior in our own format. We asked them if they could just use our existing documents and they said that would be an additional bookkeeper service of $300. At this point we were very frustrated that they took an entire month to tell us all of this after we submitted initial documents. We ended up filing with an alternative.
