Obviously, COVID-19 has made going to a gym impossible but online workouts are just as good. We do two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays and we are plenty pooped when their done. One thing I want to emphasize is that this service is definitely NOT a one size fits all situation. If you're like my wife and I we are in our 60's and there are a few things we don't do because of old joints or back issues. That is the beauty of VFD. You can work with your trainer to get a workout customized for YOU. If an exercise causes you issues you can speak up and get an alternative way to exercise. We don't do "jumpy things" as my wife likes to call them. I have knee issues and my wife has some issues with her neck. Our workouts are challenging without hurting us. You control how difficult the workout is by talking to your trainer. We love Matthew and we look forward to seeing him on workout days. Don't be afraid, this is a great way to get in shape - in your own home. A good workout can be had with just bodyweight exercises. If you want to add a few dumbbells or some exercise bands they can be easily incorporated into your workout. Do yourself a favor and see how good you can feel when you exercise regularly with someone you trust.

It has been a complete godsend. 2 years ago I suffered a tendinitis injury from my bad posture doing CrossFit. I was in really bad shape and my doctors were talking about surgery. I needed to find an alternative to traditional box/gym workout training routine. I needed something that would not only fit my lifestyle but cater to my health needs. I was literally contemplating this at a stoplight went on the radio I heard an ad for VFD. So I got to my office and made the call and set up a consultation. And I have not looked back since. My main trainers name is Megan. And she is amazing! She's not trying to shape me in some image she thinks I should be. Rather she is working at my pace and speed. The biggest thing I love is the flexibility. The ability to work out whenever and however I need. As a small business owner and a father of small children I have to have the customization in my life. If you're on the fence and wonder whether or not you should try it. Try it! You have nothing to lose. If you don't like it then don't do it. But I guarantee after a few weeks you'll be hooked. I have been working out with Cole for several months and have noticed a big improvement in my strength and my ability to move more easily. I feel better and I'm confident that I will continue to improve. Cole is knowledgeable, attentive and patient and he is always willing to adjust and adapt my workouts when I tell him about any concerns I have. Cole comes to my home, brings whatever equipment that he needs for our workout that day. He makes working out fun, not a chore like it used to be. As I'm almost 70 yo I have typical flexibility issues and knee replacements. Cole knows how to get the most out of our training sessions without overly stressing my joints or muscles. I now look forward to our sessions. If you're on the fence about working out, give Cole a call and meet with him. I'm positive that you will be impressed as I was. When Brent found Tala, she was in a heartbreaking situation--essentially feral and abandoned by the side of a highway, just days away from being euthanized. Thanks to Brent's dedication and expertise, she not only got a second chance at life, but she became the most well-behaved and gentle dog we've ever met. Tala is a Husky-Samoyed mix, and from the moment we brought her home, it was clear she had been given an amazing foundation. She walks like a dream--both on and off leash--has zero reactivity, and greets every person and animal she encounters with calm friendliness. She's completely potty and crate trained, follows commands effortlessly, and doesn't jump or vocalize unnecessarily. She's also wonderfully affectionate and incredibly food motivated, which makes bonding with her a joy. What amazes us most is how Brent managed to shape her behavior so thoughtfully without dulling her spirit. Tala still has all the bright, clever, loving traits that make her such a unique and special companion. She's seamlessly become part of our family, and we truly can't imagine life without her. Brent is nothing short of a miracle worker, and we wholeheartedly recommend Ace Dog Training to anyone looking to adopt or train a dog with kindness, skill, and heart. Thank you, Brent, for giving Tala--and us--such a beautiful new beginning.
