Not a slight warmth, not a subtle mistake--my entire head was toned into a blotchy orange mess by a fill-in stylist who clearly didn't know what he was doing. My natural hair is brown and I left looking awful. What made this even worse was their complete lack of responsibility afterward. The salon was closed for three days, they didn't answer any calls, and they didn't bother returning a single message. I was forced to go to another salon because I had to work and couldn't show up with light orange hair. The second salon tried to fix it, but the damage was so bad that it still needs a full dye and highlight redo. So far I've paid $120 at Lemon Tree and another $265 at the corrective appointment, and my hair is STILL not fixed. Lemon Tree's response? Nothing. No apology, no solution, no proper correction. Just a $95 "credit" that I will never use because I wouldn't trust them to touch my hair again. They didn't even have basic color correction products--no blue shampoo, nothing I could actually use to manage the mess they created. I have photos of the disaster they left me with. This whole experience has been humiliating, expensive, and completely avoidable if the salon cared even slightly about their clients. I would warn anyone considering this place: do not risk it.

You can always hear stylists chatting with their clients and having fun while "beautifying". Esther's skill in ethnic hair is a welcomed comfort to anyone looking for Black hair care, special needs for hair loss and weaves and extensions. No one is more informative and keeps the interests of her clients in the forefront of every consultation. I drive the 2hour 20minute there and back home in one day every 6 weeks - rain, shine, snow or sleet. If that doesn't tell you about her quality, I don't know what would convince you.

When I arrived there, the esthetician told me she only did clusters so I agreed to them, though a little disappointed. Once complete I took a quick glance at the mirror, paid and left. Upon arriving at work (10mins later), I took a closer look in the day light and to my horror the eyelashes were terrible!!! First of all, clear glue was used and gooped on so much you could see clear glue chunks on my eyelashes. They were heavy and looked terrible. My co-worker/friend looked and asked "Holy! What happened to your eyes!" Needless to say I went back right away. After talking to the owner (i'm assuming she's the owner), she looked and said there was nothing wrong with them, i was almost in tears because they were so horrible, she did not want to give me any reimbursement because I had already left the salon (I was only gone for max 30mins). She wasn't willing to do anything, so she gave me a little bottle of glue adhesive remover and told me I could do it myself!!! Worst experience of LIFE at a salon! I have no idea why that place is still open. Terrible service, very unprofessional. I guess you get what you pay for after all.
