Doesn't get your car clean at all. Save your money and drive up the hill to Brown Bear where your car actually comes out clean.

Brown Bear Car Wash - 5/24/24

Brown Bear Car Wash

NOT happy with their conveyor belt system! I was an unlimited member at The Wave for 5 years but…read moretheir conveyor belt wash does a horrible job on wheels, so I canceled my membership there and switched to Brown Bear's unlimited plan. Big mistake. I live less than a mile away but only used this location once after discovering they also use that conveyor belt! The brushes only clean half your wheels because the wheels don't roll. So right before I posted this review I called the Lakewood location and found they still have the roller track system, so your wheels actually turn during the wash! So I'm not going to cancel my unlimited wash plan, I'm just going to drive to Bridgeport Way now. I spent good money on my wheels, so I want them all the way clean.

Extremely disappointed with how a minor issue was handled at the 187th and Meridian location today…read more I was stuck behind a vehicle at the tunnel entrance for over 5 minutes because of a membership discrepancy. Instead of keeping the line moving, staff let the queue stack up behind me while they tried to 'sort it out' at the mouth of the wash. Better way to handle this: 1. Send the car through and resolve the billing/membership issue once they pull out of the tunnel. 2. Or, at the very least, communicate with the drivers waiting in line so we aren't sitting there wondering why the tunnel is empty. It was a massive inconvenience to everyone in line for something that could have been handled on the back end.

Zero Stars if I could…read more $22 for a wash that didn't do what it claimed, and didn't clean my vehicle.. It offered a two step cleanse for my tires yet they are still dirty. Dirt was present on my rear windshield, bumper, and sides of my vehicle. It's only been a month since I washed it, so how this machine was incapable of wiping away a little dirt I am unsure of. THEN the vacuums did not work. I tried multiple spots and they did not suction at all.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. They will damage your vehicle and then refuse to pay for it…read more I took my 2017 vehicle--pristine inside and out, meticulously maintained--through The Wave on Whitman Lane for a routine wash. The driver-side mirror cover was factory-original, never disassembled, never repaired, zero bodywork ever performed on the mirror or surrounding area. It was exactly as it left the assembly line. Their blower ripped the mirror cover clean off, snapping one of the three plastic mounting tabs that secure it. That tab is now permanently broken and unusable--leaving the cover held by only two tabs (a 33% loss in holding strength). At first, the manager seemed reasonable. He asked for a repair estimate, which I promptly provided from a reputable local body shop. Once I did, the excuses began: * They questioned the estimate's validity. * They demanded I go back to the shop for clarification on the OEM mirror that was being sourced. * I did exactly that. The shop revised the quote to address the concern. Then, radio silence--followed by a cowardly email claiming they're not liable because "the mirror cover came off in the blower," implying my car had "prior damage" or "previous work." They have zero evidence for this. The mirror was untouched since new. They're fabricating excuses to dodge responsibility. Now I'm out over $800 for a repair that should've been 100% on them. Worse: * The cover now has 33% less holding power. * That means a 33% higher chance of it detaching in any future car wash. * I can no longer use any automated car wash--including theirs--without risking further damage. Their equipment is clearly too aggressive for modern vehicles, yet they refuse to stand behind the damage it causes. This isn't an isolated incident; a quick search shows others have had mirrors, antennas, and trim destroyed here with the same runaround. Unacceptable. Dishonest. Dangerous. I will never return, and I'm demanding a full refund for the unused washes on my membership cards. I'll be taking this to small claims if needed. Save your car. Save your money. Avoid The Wave.
