Summer is approaching so she added more highlights than usual underneath and I absolutely love it! The lady I went to before always used the same developer all over which caused the top portion to not process all the way and were a bit yellowy. She however used a higher developer near the top of my head which made them turn out perfect! The salon is very clean and cute, it is small since there are only two girls doing hair. (Ashley and Carey) But I love that because it's a very warm and inviting environment. Their prices are also great, 75 for half head highlights and toner and 120 for full head highlights and toner. Right now they only take cash and check (which is perfectly fine with me) but starting in either June or July (I'm sorry, I can't remember which) they will accept debit and credit cards. Just an update, they do accept debit and credit cards now.

I have had my hair cut dry for years. That is the way to cut curly hair for obvious reasons... you can look it up, but she refused to cut it dry. I thought I was the customer? Anyway, I decided to stay. She had an assistant wash my hair. I gave her a tip, too. S***y seemed to give me a good cut and bragged about how good she was while doing it. When I got home, I checked the length all over, and I was very upset when I noticed places on my right side that were at least a half inch longer. It was very obvious! My husband could even tell! Thus, the reason why I wanted my hair cut dry. I called the salon to see if I could get in for a quick fix. I was told that I would have to wait several days until after the weekend! I was not happy, especially since I had just paid $101 to have my hair cut and gave a good tip!!! So, I fixed it myself, and it looks perfect. Had they fit me back into their schedule for what would have been a 5 minute fix, I would not be writing this! So just beware before you go. It's very expensive and you may not get someone who listens to what you want! I will never go back! Anyone who brags about how good they are, messes up my hair, won't fix it right away, and charges me a fortune is not for me! That's poor customer service! I have already found someone else. The first question I asked my new person was, "Do you cut naturally curly hair wet or dry", she said "dry"! Now, that is a professional who is updated with the current cuts!!!
