After looking at homes all day Sunday, we arrived at the D. R. Horton town homes in Orlando at 6pm. The sales rep, Iris, was locking the front door and ready to go. My agent, Robert from LaRosa Realty, approached Iris and asked if we could see the display. Iris gladly opened up the 3 display units and I knew that I wanted to purchase this home. It is on a dead end street, well built and beautifully wooded area. An hour later, we submitted a contract to Iris for my new home. D.R. Horton immediately began processing the loan request the following day. For the next 30 days, Roxanne from D.R. Horton Mortgage worked diligently to get me approved, but in the end, I received notice that D.R. Horton Mortgage could not approve my loan due to my self employment income. The worst mortgage broker I have ever met.
