That said, the biggest issue is availability. It feels like the focus is more on bringing patients in than actually accommodating them once they're clients. There's very little flexibility with scheduling, and getting an appointment after school (3-5 PM) is nearly impossible. Missing school regularly just isn't a realistic option for most families. If they could improve access and scheduling flexibility, this would be a much stronger experience overall.

WOW was I surprised. What a gorgeous, light, airy, attractive facility! All the workers and all the patients exiting and waiting seemed very upbeat. I had booked the appointment for a tech to make a new mold to replace my broken retainer. Unexpectedly, Dr Curtis cheerfully involved himself in the process and offered two completely different approaches to my retainer. The young girls working there are not qualified and deny being trained for that machine. Each of them said "It never works". Both my son and I did not get our completion of therapy. We were supposed to get our pictures of before and after our treatment to see if we were satisfied with the results. Jill the office manager is hostile and bullied my son and I. It was very uncomfortable to come there. Dr Chaffee hires very young inexperienced girls to work for him so he doesn't have to pay them very much. We paid for QUALIFIED orthodontic techs. Many times we left with broken brackets and needed to return again to have them replaced. Very incompetent staff. I've brought our concerns to Dr Chaffee many times. He sent us a letter saying we were no longer welcome in his office breaching our contract. I do not have a proper fitting retainer and the result of that are really spaced out front teeth worse than I started with. My son did not get a proper fitting retainer either. I had to pay our dentist $150 for his retainer. I'm paying over $850 to get composites to fill in the gaps that were created from not having a retainer. I want a refund for our braces or retainers from another facility.

The office staff was organized and helpful both before and during my visit. The dental team was friendly, gentle and understanding. Dr. Rader took time to chat before looking at my teeth, had already looked at the x-rays before coming in the room, and thoroughly explained what he was concerned with. She told me they hadn't had a vacation for years and they all wanted to go on vacation. So I guess if you want to make your own decisions and find a different person that you didn't get referred to then they will make up excuses and just drop you and leave you hanging.
