It's a better value in the long run to buy household furniture that's made to last! Amelia's has really made us happy with this piece! So much so that we returned and purchased an extremely well made sofa and TV stand. There was an issue with the two delivery guys who wanted twice the agreed price to bring this huge and heavy piece into our home. We paid up; they honestly earned their money ; this was a tough job even for two big delivery guys!

The estimate indicated that they would clean and prepare the surface of the shutters prior to painting and then paint. When I went outside to observe the work, I noticed that he was not preparing the surface prior to painting but simply applying the paint over the dirty shutters. When questioned, he indicated that he was taking a microfiber cloth and wiping the shutters prior to painting? That was not cleaning the surface at all! I anticipate that we will have to repaint the shutters again in 3-4 years due to his poor quality of work. When I informed the office manager of the dissatisfaction, she did refund 50% of the cost as compensation. I will be reluctant to call them in the future but options seem to be limited in the area.

We had some rot damage areas that took us a full year to get repaired after they had finished everything else and they immediately came back out and completed the job. It looks excellent now. Based on experiences with other builders, we worried that we would have to keep things that way for a long time. They started the day they said they would, and they were here 8 to 12 hours a day, six days a week, until the job was done. The workmanship is top quality. Part of the project was to remove a damaged popcorn ceiling in the bathroom. The finished ceiling is perfect. Jovann did some minor drywall repairs in another part of the house where a crack had developed and where there was some old water damage. We expected that because the paint had been there a while, that you would be able to see where the repair is. You cannot, even if you know where to look. Jovann is easy to work with and has a good eye for aesthetics. He is resourceful and has someone who can do a great job with whatever is needed: HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, sheet metal, electrical, roofing, etc. We subsequently had JL Painting and Drywall finish some space in an outbuilding, and the workmanship again exceeded expectations.

We will be calling on Chris again, hopefully soon for an outdoor kitchen! We still haven't moved into the house yet, so these photos really don't do justice to how beautiful these truly are. Kitchen is quartzite and bathrooms are granite. We selected the stones from Slabco in TR. Chris picked up the ones we wanted, measured and confirmed exactly what we wanted, cut the templates at his shop, and installed them within about a week - 10 days! We decided to extend the granite in the master bathroom to cover the space under where cabinets will go, and Chris came back really quickly to do the work - again at a good price, and again at fantastic quality. We also had an issue where the sink drains we'd chosen required more space. Chris was super responsive and was able to come over the same day to widen the drain holes in minutes. Cleaned up after himself too even though others were leaving messes. Can't say enough good things about the guy. He'sa pleasure to work with. Thank you Chris and team!

Would not recommend. Hired to pressure wash and stain our playset. We were told we would need 5…read moregallons of stain to complete the job. After watering down 1 gallon of stain to apply a skim coat to portions of the exterior, while also leaving other areas completely untouched, they left the job after only a couple hours on site. We were then told via text that it would require a second coat and that it would cost an additional $300. We are now completing the project ourselves and can see that they practically didn't do anything besides pressure washing, which ultimately left our playset unprotected and in worse condition than had they never been here. In addition, we were left with missing hardware and an improperly returned safety net around our suspension bridge.
