When I contacted them they were very friendly and made it easy to get things moving. I emailed them all the information needed to prepare my cards. Upon review of the proof which they emailed to me, the cards were ready in less than a day. They offered me a choice of shipping the cards to me or picking them up. Their building is a bit old and has a very nostalgic feel to it. Just standing in the building I felt that I had stepped back in time a bit and wondered about all the items that must have been printed in this facility. When I met the staff they were very personal. Unlike going into a Kinkos or other "chain" store, these people genuinely cared about providing a quality product and it showed. When I picked up my cards I had said they turned out even better than I had expected and I'm still raving to others about the quality. They might be a little more expensive than other "chain store" printers, but like anything else, you get what you pay for and for me, the business card is usually someones first impression and for some, it might be their only impression if they don't get a chance to talk to you directly but are just given a card and with a card printed from DeFrance, you are clearly going to present a good first impression. Jen was incredibly helpful despite how busy they were (it was the start of the semester at Miramar College). My design was bright red with gold lettering, and I originally wanted it printed on red cardstock. Jen thoughtfully suggested that the gold might not show well and offered to print samples on both red and white cardstock so I could compare. She was absolutely right! The white cardstock looked much better. The turnaround time was impressively fast, and when I picked up the final prints, she had even added a red background to the back so the design still felt cohesive. They said it would take from 7-14 business days to try to have it repaired and they had no idea how much it would cost (after the initial $59 fee). Cesar called me within minutes, it was late Friday and all the other local repair places were closed until Monday. I took it over and he had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 1 hour! Dell told me not to take it anywhere locally. When Cesar opened up my computer he showed me the cheap parts they had used on my expensive laptop. He replaced the bad parts with high-quality ones.
