Unbelievably rude help.... after waiting months now for a behringer part that I was quoted 130.00 on, I get a second unit in that needs one too and call to see if any hope exists of getting one in. First person Stacy tells me to get the part number and I have another call come in and ask if she'll hold a few seconds while i tell them I'll call back. literally 10 seconds later she's hung up on me. So I call back..wade through the message and the lady tells me Stacy is busy at the counter now...she can 'help' me. I explain that the part number I read off we've been waiting for and SHE changes the whole story to 'we never sell parts'. Calls me a liar for claiming that I was quoted and have waited a a few months now. Accuses me of being 'rude' for saying that's what happened..hangs up when i say 'but you're calling me a liar'. Great PR people. Great PR..... so what do I do now? i call Behringer and the lady I get there acts like she's standing right by the other lady. Talks over the top of me and tries to divert me to another service center who will probably tell me the same thing. Sorry done being baited and switched on for the day. read more

Sent in my Denon amp for warranty repair. Quick turnaround and, though brief, the description of what they did is very helpful. All too often, you send in something for warranty and it comes back without any indication of what, if anything, they did. Not here. Appreciated. read more

I have a 70" TV that needs an edge LED strip replacement. Called to discuss and was answered by a very rude woman who told me to "go shopping for a new TV". Contacted another company who was glad to come out to my home and perform the repair. I guess they don't need / want to be in the repair/service business. read more

Incredible customer service here. Had a Denon x-4000 receiver that was out-of-warranty and called for an estimate of repair costs. The rep Stacy was incredibly honest and helpful. She walked me through the problems over the phone and was quite blunt with me, saying that the cost of repair was likely not worth it. She then asked me about my must-have features and proceeded to recommend units that would fit my needs. All this info and I didn't have to make the drive or pay anything. Cleaned and repaired my Pioneer SX 650. Picked it up and tested it out but had some issues. Returned it and it tested fine. Turned out I had some bad cables on the turntable as well. They recommended an inexpensive work around and now the unit is performing like its 1979 again. Fair prices. Kept to the timeline they quoted. I sent a TEAC CD player for warranty repair to Electronic Express and had to pay for the shipping which was almost $20. The CD player was returned, but was not repaired. It has the same problem as it did when it was initially sent to Electronic Express. I called and was told to send it back. I complained that it was not my problem it didn't work when it came back to me and asked for a shipping label. The receptionist told me they would not pay for shipping and I needed to contact TEAC. My biggest complaint is the lack of customer service. Electronic Express was paid to fix it, sent it back, but expects me to pay shipping again for a repair at my expense. Will I end up paying the amount the CD player cost in shipping to Electronic Express before they fix the problem? read more

Took my Pioneer Elite receiver into Electronics Express to diagnose and repair a malfunctioning subwoofer output. Service was prompt and courteous and they correctly diagnosed and fix the problem for a reasonable fee. They were proactively communicative and knowledgeable on my equipment. Excellent service. I took in my 25 year old Harmon Kardon receiver in for a general tune up. Still worrked good and I did not want to replace it but controls were all carboned up and as a resutl sound was staticy. I figured I would end up waiting forever for an estimate, parts, etc. Well, I got an estiamte in three days and the total job took less than a week. In fact i could have had the unit back sooner had I not misunderstood the tech and realized the unit would have been ready the day of the estimate. Anyway, no new parts were needed, all the switches were cleaned and the unit performs like new. In fact, i still am one of those dinosaurs that still owns a turntable, and i was albe to play some albums I have not listened to in decades. I must have forgotten, but I heard sounds off those albums that I did not even remember were there. The album playback qaulity equalled and surpassed many CD's in my collection. I went there to get my vintage receiver fixed, but before I dropped it off they asked me whats the exact problem I want fixed and to describe it for them. That's fair, but I wanted a quote on all the problems they could find like scratchy controls, channels cutting in and out, busted lamps, high pitched squeals anything. They ended up just fixing just one problem I described because thats the first one I told them about. When they called me they didn't even asked if I wanted anything else they found wrong fixed, not even quoting me on everything else. So I brought it back to them a second time because there was still other existing obvious problems, like channels cutting out. Sure they fixed the high pitch squeal, but how can I listen to music with channels cutting out, the tech must have heard it. So, I brought it back and after initial resistance they agreed to fix it at no additional charge. Now my vintage receiver is perfect and sounds excellent. But I had to fix the broken lamps myself. read more

So two years ago I bought a Kenwood car stereo from Crutchfield. Never got around to installing it until yesterday. Took it out of the box and it was DOA. Crutchfield informed me it was out of warranty. Found Electronic Express through the Kenwood Authorized Service Center locator. Called and was told it would be $45 to bench test and determine problem. Took it in, they tested it while I was there and found it in perfect condition, The technician was knowledgeable enough to talk me through what I was doing wrong. While the technician was testing the unit the woman working the counter (the co-owner) explained they were a second generation shop and that the other co-owner (her husband) has been working in electronics for over 25 years. After taking up too much of their time asking questions they must have felt sorry for me because they did not even charge me the agreed upon fee! I insisted and they refused!!! Their depth of knowledge is only exceeded by their awesome customer service! They have a customer for life! read more
