In Maricopa you have zero choice of who services your water or electric and because of this they love to overcharge you. For example a few months ago they updated their online payment tool, did not tell anybody, so you could not log in, could no be resent your username etc and tech support was of no help. I went in to pay the bill a few days later and was told since I was ONE day late they had dropped me from my "level pay plan" and charged me a fee. So because of their screw up and useless tech support I got charged money and kicked off a program I have been on for years in good standing. They are worthless read more

1.0 star rating 10/30/2017 my wife is pregnant and I have 6 kids. I lost my job 6 months ago and baby is due any day. Last 3 months I have been working for uber and lyft full time to pay the bills. Due to health and pregnancy related issues I was unable to work a few weeks and fell behind. This company cared less about my situation and treated me as incompetent. They gave me no remorse and threatened to shut off my electricity. I made a 1 week extension and because I needed to change it further another week (due to pregnancy), they said I would be breaching my agreement and would be charged a penalty and no more payment arrangements. This company doesn't care if you lost your job, have a lot of kids, or if your wife is pregnant. I love it here in maricopa. alot of people are caring and nice, but this company takes the caring out of maricopa. They need to change big time. I don't know anyone who likes ed3. a lot of bad stories. There is no way around it. They have a monopoly here so they take advantage. I can't wait til the governement comes in finally to look at their books. that will be a glorious day. Already writing letters to government on this one. I'm thinking about petitioning it too. I really don't like seeing good people taken advantage of. This has to stop! Something doesn't look right here. I even tried getting an appointment with cahra a assistance program and they never have appointments avail. Salvation army doesn't ever call back either. read more

This company is such a huge rip off!!. It is the only electric company here in Maricopa and they rip us off monthly. They charge whatever they want bc they know the people have no choice but to pay unless they want to live off candles. I have complained about this company to anyone that would listen but if course it does no good. They sit back and get rich by ring if hard working people. They but their per from SRP , then turn around and resale it to us for up to 7 things more than what they paid for it!! Total rip off. I hate them. I hope in the future we get another electric company here that has lower rates and forces these jerks out of business!!! read more

This is probably the worst electric company we could ever get stuck with here. There's no tolerance for even a day late! I wouldn't even give them one star if I could get my yelp posted without it! Feel like I want to move just because of them! Horrible service horrible people to deal with they should be reported to the utilities board in Arizona! It's a monopoly and unfortunately we can't get around them. I'm using the same amount of electric as I did three months ago and all of a sudden my bill doubles?? Who knows if we really get charge for what we actually use. If I could do without two things it would be this electric company and water company called global water. read more

So last month I was taken aback. My bill was 290. August rolls along and I leave the air conditioning off. Don't use the lights much. Don't watch any tv and unplug all the televisions. And my bill is twenty dollars MORE. How can anyone explain that? My bill is 310 dollars. Single story. Small three bedroom home. Three hundred and ten dollars? Jesus I think I might as well live like a cave woman. This company is seriously a RIP OFF. My family suffered in the heat in our house and for some magical reason the bill is more than last month? How?? Their answer is that our temperatures were at an all time high. I call bullshit. And then they give you imaginary phone numbers to call who'll probably never help or answer their phones. What is up with this? Is this for real? read more

I just love being on hold for 30 minutes only to get connected to a person who cannot assist you in any way and also choses to speak over you when you try to address issues with them. I spoke to a representative today with no ability to simply listen to my situation, instead she chose to guess at what I was calling about. I have been charged for power I was not even home to use and was calling to get clarification and explanation of the usage and also my bill. After being rudely spoken to about how I should know my monthly billing cycle and why I don't have the bill in front of me I was able to get out exactly 4 words before I was interrupted about how I over used power during one of the 2 and a half months where I was not at home. After explaining to the representative that my AC units were both broken for about 2 whole months and due to the high temperatures in my house made it not fit for me and my 2 children to stay there. In turn we vacated the house until I was able to get my air conditioning units fixed last week. I was immediately referred to a service which was not fully explained where the company goes and checks my meter and then was told if there is nothing wrong I would have to be charged to have it reviewed further. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH I asked for a supervisor and was told "No" and "That I will be called tomorrow to speak to someone" I then further tried to get more assistance with what the next steps would be if the meter check did no go well , so that I can plan to make that step if needed or if there is an appeal process I can follow. I was then told that the conversation was not going anywhere and then at that point I became appalled and disconnected the call. Since they are known to "not find anything wrong" I am sure when they come to check my meter that that will be the case, in turn I'm paying for power I did not use. THANKS ED3 read more
