All of a sudden they started closing up early, even though the hours on the door still say they're open until 10. I get off work at 9:30 and rush to the store, making sure to get there by 9:50. I can see them packing up through the window, but the door is closed and they won't answer when I knock. I've worked at a dispensary, easiest job I've ever worked, and we weren't allowed to close our tills or lock the door until 10, maybe two minutes early if it was slow. Those people don't care about giving people their medicine, they're just clocking in and trying to clock out as early as they can. read more

I went in last week and bought 2 prerolls. Brand was Sticks and the strain was super lemon haze. I smoked one and thought this taste like hot garbage. Only got half ways. I then dig thru the trash can and found the date harvested was 10/2020 and tested 1/2021. 2 joints for $10 at medical price is completely absurd for 2 and a half year old weed. read more

However, at the end of the day, the legalization of cannabis has brought so much competition yet we are hearing reports on the news that there is an abundance and surplus of cannabis in the Oregon market. I've been in several dispensaries and The Herbary impressed me with its excellence, beauty and expertise. Their selection is small because they only carry the best products (so I was not overwhelmed by a ton of low-grade items to consider. Their receptionist was sweet and helpful. Their budtender was super-knowledgeable, including sharing his own CBD-healing experience, and he was Not stoned (as has been the case in other dispensaries I've been in). Had my wife purchase some flower. When I looked at it the next day it had clearly had mold trimmed off it. It was hard and black at the top on a couple of the nugs. I called they said sure we will make it right. I get there it's sorry not till the manager was in. I'm from out of town here for the holidays. I threw that crap in the garbage where it belonged. You can buy weed anywhere. Why support a store that sells bad product and won't stand behind what they sell. I'm sure not everything they sell has issues. Mine did and I wasted a bunch of time on my Christmas holiday dealing with a dispensary and 20 dollars of bad weed. Should have just replaced it for me and said sorry. This place has some sort of scam going on, they don't have an ATM. They made me use my credit card, ran it one time and said it didn't work so then they ran it again. The lady said she was positive that I wasn't charged twice but that was wrong. My bank showed that I was charged twice which i tried to work with the manager about and she said no. It was my issue to deal with my bank plus when I purchased my item, I was charged $24, then I was charged $4 from them and then they gave me $20 cash from their drawer. This is all crazy, you know they are trying hide money from the State of Oregon. Don't go here unless you're ok with being scammed. Find a legit place!!! read more

If you're looking for good customer service try going elsewhere. I have a severely strained muscle in my back that I've tried everything for. I finally remembered The Herbary carries apothecanna sprays and lotions. So for the first time in almost a week (cause I can't move), I get in my car and drive down to hopefully find some relief. I chat the guy behind the counter for a few minutes and finally settle on the 2 oz extra strength spray. I get home and go to put a little on my back, thought it was strange that it was a cream and not a spray but I was in so much pain I figured I must of been mistaken on the extra strength being a spray and not a lotion. A few minutes later I am looking at the bottle and realize it isn't the extra strength I wanted. So I go find my receipt and it says extra strength on it. So now I'm convinced the guy just grabbed the wrong bottle. I figure no big deal, they should just swap it out for me. I wait for my wife to get home cause there is no way I'm getting out of the house again. I get a text from the wife from The Herbary - "You're out of luck!" So apparently the lady working the counter and the manager that she called decided that their stoner mistake was my problem. read more
