I love edm and this was my first edc I went to. I was excited to go, as I've been hearing about the event for years and wanted to experience it for myself. PROS: Excellent production value! Lots of stages, stores, bars, things to do. Loved the lighting and the set design. The fireworks were amazing. You can tell Insomniac put a lot of thought and energy into putting this together. Lots of security, medical staff and police around, so it felt "safe" even though there were thousands of people. Accommodations to and from the event... everything. Very well done. I stayed till the sun came up all 3 days. CONS: Festivals can be tough for a person like me with some social anxiety. All those people, hopped up on who knows what, destroying the overcrowded bathrooms, and bumping into you in the crowd made it extremely tough for me to be comfortable and enjoy myself or the music. My small group of 2-4 friends didnt stand a chance against the inconsiderate masses. I dont necessarily blame EDC for that, though. Then we leave the event and stand in those long lines of the same pushy people for that hour long shuttle ride back... just to do it again 3 days in a row... ugh. My main issue was with the lack of diversity in the actual music. 80% of the artist and DJ's were hard techno/hardstyle type. There wasn't really a section for any sexy edm like house/chillstep/progressive where you could catch a vibe, enjoy a conversation and actually dance! Everybody wanted to "rave" and bounce around, and that got extremely played out halfway thru day 2. All the DJ's and sets started to sound the same. Also, there were no Black DJ's on any of the main stages. They had the small "Unbuntu" stage set off to the side, but it played mostly AfroHouse and was set up like a poor african village... I get the symbolism but it was lowkey offensive, and the sound kept getting drowned out by larger stages all around. So after a day and a half of getting my eardrums assaulted, i burnt out in the experience and pretty much reserved myself to the bleachers at Cosmic Meadows. OVERALL: The event was alright, and for the $ i spent, i refuse to say I didnt have a good time. It just wasnt the PLUR lovefest I thought it would be... It felt like a very commercial version of what underground raves would be like, and I didnt feel very represented as an avid edm enjoyer that wasnt there to "hardcore rave". If EDC is your type of party, then by all means enjoy to the max. I was looking for a different type of vibe, and next time I would go VIP everything and avoid the masses as much as I could all together. And I'd prolly see the few acts I really want to see there, and then enjoy other things to do in and around edc, instead of trying to get a particular type of experience from the actual event. Would definitely go again, just do it better so I could enjoy myself more, now that I know what it is.

I honestly did not think we could Yelp raves, but let's do it! I went to EDCLV 2k19 (Electronic Daisy Carnival Las Vegas) and it was the most craziest experience of my life. For those who have not been to a festival I would say EDC is on a different level and possibly one to experience! This was a fun filled 3-day festival from dusk till dawn! And oh my gosh everything that you could do here was insane! They had multiple stages ranging from different types of genres you would listen to in EDM. For example, they had a stage called the Bass Pod. The artists that performed at this stage dropped super heavy bass music perfect for those headbangers and crazy "wubs" sound! They also had another stage called Wastelands! Mainly featuring Hard Style artists! They also had a, "main" stage called Kinetic field! This stage was HUGE. It was probably the biggest stage compared to the other 7 stages. Also on the side they had different attractions, shops, small carnival rides, and a lot of drink and food booths. I would say the only downside to this was the port a potty situation and their shuttles. So with the port a potty situation, I had a GA (General Admission) ticket and you were not allowed to use the, "nicer bathrooms" unless you had a GA+ or VIP ticket. Personally for me I should of just got the GA+ because the bathrooms were Air Conditioned and were A LOT cleaner than the port a potties. Moving forward, the whole shuttle situation WAS A TRAIN WRECK ON THE FIRST DAY. I took a shuttle to the venue because I figured that it would be a lot easier than taking a car. Oh boy I think I might of got it twisted. But going to Day 1 for EDCLV was a mess. There was traffic when going through the military base to enter the motorway and we were waiting for maybe an 1 hour. However, LEAVING was worse. I think on base they were doing construction or something and it backed up the shuttles SO BAD. It took at least 3 hours to leave the venue and keep in mind I left at around 1am and it was 3am when I got back to my hotel. However leaving on Day 2 & Day 3 they found an alternate route and it was pretty fast to get back to the strip! Overall, I thought EDC was fun and pretty safe for the most part. I didn't experience anything bad within people (thankfully) and also it's just breathtaking. People attending the rave was super friendly and kind! Honestly, you can vibe with anyone and no one judges you. EDC honestly has a special place in my heart and is like a second home to me. It's super unfortunate how Hawaii doesn't have ANY of this. If I were to compare the raves from Hawaii to the mainland it's clear like night and day! Honestly, I would not mind going to another EDC experience such as EDC Japan or Korea! I will be back for their anniversary in 2022 and I hope to see you there!

This is my favorite festival ever! Wear comfy shoes it's a lot of walking and please do whatever you can to avoid the GREEN lot parking lol I did GA but next year I will do GA+ because I snuck off to those bathrooms and they're so much better Eat before you come, I ordered nachos and a water for $23 not worth it at all Cocktails start at $15 and you can't do "shots" it's just alcohol and ice but still it's dumb Anyways this festival is so much fun, the visuals and the best fireworks take place here. The music is amazing and there are so many activities like games and carnival rides to go on

EAT, SLEEP, RAVE & REPEAT ~ The motto for EDC ~ Been going for 4 years straight, and can honestly say no other EDM festival can compare to EDC. When you walk down those bleachers, you walk into a magical wonderland of PLUR (peace, love, unity, respect), friendship, music, lights, FIREWORKS and a gigantic dance floor. Cant really explain the experience, you have to be there to understand. ;) Tips: - STAY HYDRATED (when it was held in June, it was freaking hot (110+ degree), but they changed the date to May in 2018 (thank god, the weather is perfect now) -Comfy shoes ! You'll be on your feet from sunset to sunrise -Set a meet up spot at certain times if you guys get lost (ex: Ferris wheel on Rainbow Road 1AM), there's LIMITED SIGNAL here Transportation TIPS: -Driving: If you don't want to sit in traffic for 2+ hours, go EARLY. For some reason, there's always construction during EDC -__-" although there's less traffic now since EDC camp was introduce in 2018 -Preferred parking pass: Miss for me, the year I bought it (2017), it was SOO DISORGANIZED ! We were locked in for some reason ... . No PLUR once you leave the parking lot FYI ~ -Uber/Lyft: Best decision I ever made. Honestly who wants to be the DD right (I was DD for 2 years, it sucks). It's expensive, but worth it. -Shuttles: Never used it, but I've heard bad reviews from friends ... From personal experience, EDC is a place where you can forget all your worries and just have fun dancing the night away with your love ones. So if you get a chance, give EDC a try, you'll see what I'm talking about.

My first EDC and it was spectacular-spectacular! Lots of great sets, amazing DJ's, water everywhere to hydrate yourself, carnival rides, and everyone in amazing outfits. Highly recommend getting the premium parking to save yourself from the 2 hour wait from general parking. There is a separate parking and freeway specifically for the premium parking. It's worth it.

Oh what an amazing experience. EDC Las Vegas is like the Disney World not Disneyland but Disney World of house, bass, trance, dance, & techno music. This has always been on my bucket list. Finally, I got a chance to go. I research the heck out of this festival. All the do and don't!. I am not a spring chicken so I want to be prepared. Thanks goodness for YouTube, Reddit's, & Instagram. Everyone and it was true said it a marathon not a sprint. Drinks a lot of water. Which is nice since they have free water station. So bring empty water bottle or a hydration pack. I bought a roll up water bottle since I want to carry a lot of things on mini back pack. The best parking lot is the brown or the north parking unless you bought the premier parking zone. Our last night we got there late and got the green parking lot. The walk to the entrance took forever. Try not to pregame if you have a weak bladder. It take forever to park and people were peeing on the freeway.

Things to be at EDC: 1) young, like 24-and-under-young If it's too late for you, then at least bring these things: -- earplugs for your old, sensitive ears -- an overall feeling of PLUR...if you even knew what the hell PLUR was (peace, love, unity, respect) -- a battery pack for your phone so you can take pics all night to prove that while you, yourself are an oldster who usually goes to bed at 10pm, can hang with the cool kids at a music festival -- patience: there will most likely be a wait for Uber there & back & for port-a-potties (this is a good time to say: bring hand sanitizer or hand wipes!) -- a sense of adventure. You're partying under the electric freakin sky for fuck's sake, you're going to see & do things that don't exist in real life #rave #raver #ravelife #anotherEDCforthebooks #imwiththeDJ #iamwaytooOLDforthisSHIT (Joking, there were people my advanced age there & it was hella fun. Don't let anything stop you from going #yolo)

I mean its Vegas and EDCLV. Over all EDCLV is such an incredible experience especially with friends and also with new great people you get to meet and now call friends. EDCLV18 was my first EDC and it was just breathtaking. I love EDC PLUR all way the way. Both times I've gone I've had an amazing time such a great vibe all EDC. Y'all don't get scared of leaving your friends go and explore yourself you'll meet new people that you might call later friends. Things I suggest you bring/do is bring a Fanny pack or also a Hydration backpack to keep your things in there and also to keep hydrated. Trust me you are gonna get thirsty with all the heat. Plus they give free water. Also try to leave early because traffic gets super bad and also are lines to enter the festival get full too. Additionally try to rent a car with your friends or get the EDC shuttle (which is separate from your ticket) because the cost to get back to your hotel is gonna be almost 150$ with Uber which is exorbitant. Alcohol is a little costly but it does the job, And food is at a fair price to be honest and is also good. If you are still trying to figure out if you should come to EDCLV do it you're going to love it just as much as I do. I think it's one of the biggest of all EDC's I think if I'm not mistaken. Plus every year they add more stuff to EDC and its worth the money you spend.

This year insomniac moved the dates up one month to avoid the typical blazing hot weather at night. Glad they did. It was around 55 degrees so booths that had jackets sold out quick. For people who aren't familiar it's the biggest rave. So people are dressed in rave gear which consists of lots of half naked people having a good time. It's part burning man, part Coachella with a Comic-Con kind of crowd. Creative fun costumes. All are welcomed here. 150,000 people each night and this event sells out. Do your due diligence should you decide to experience EDC. I loved the sensory overload. DJ after DJ stage after stage. It's a must do if you're open to electronic dance music and the rave vibe. A weekend of Peace Love Unity & Respect. (PLUR) Unheard of in our daily lives right? Work place, social media and the like. That's non existent. But here at EDC that is their mantra and the EDC crowd goes full throttle at showing fellow ravers that. If someone needs assistance due to heat exhaustion etc other ravers are quick to get them to event staff and the medical help. It's nice to see people being nice for once. Meet me under the electric sky. It will blow your mind. Mel M Yelp 19:26

The was my first time to EDC VEGAS. Compared to Nocturnal and various other festivals, EDC VEGAS blows them out of the water. I've heard so many stories about, there being no water, no security, and they it was generally run poorly. I didn't see any of that at all. THERE WAS PLENTY OF WATER, free and paid water. Free water was given at the beginning of the entrance to ensure a everyone I was hydrated. The security I encountered were all really helpful. The venue was huge and the for the most part the LINE UPS DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. Of course the only thing is trying to get to the venue was a pain. Trying to fit 100k people in a venue is a logistical nightmare, unless you were flying in then you we're stuck in the traffic. Hopefully they'll fix that problem in the coming festivals. I'm not a big festival person, but I would return to this one. It was an amazing experience!

This a one of a kind life time experience and I honestly have no RAGRETS (lol). EDC was an amazing, beautiful, and eye opening experience and it was completely worth every cent of it. It is a 3 day music festival with so much entertainment and things to do. There are various music stages and Artists to choose from. The sight of this event was beautiful during the day and especially the night time when you could see all the beautiful lights. Staff and everyone was so friendly. Wish the food wasn't so expensive but that's nothing new at music festivals. Aside to music venues, they also have multiple roller coaster rides, shows, games, and much more. I took part in the edc camping and that escalated my experience being at edc for 5 days and having the festival right next door. I highly recommend this at least once in your life time.

I'm having INSAAANE EDC withdrawals right now and the only thing i can do is write a review and wait for beyond wonderland... in.. september... ): dammmmit I feel like EDC is one of the things you gotta experience at least once in your lifetime. Even if you are not a hardcore EDM lover, if you go at least for one day, you get to feel the amazing vibes that everyone has there and LOL not to be hella cliche, all that PLUR attitude and its really different from anything youll ever feel. Everything is so freaking spectacular: -the lights from every crazy big stage with the different setups like OWLLSSS!!! and monsters butterflies i dont even remember -FIREWORKSSS omg so beautiful every single night -the rides like ferris wheel, mini drop zone, this flying one with chairs, this year they had some crazy glow in the dark spinny caterpillar... etc -lounges for people to chill and CHARGING STATION FOR PHONES THANK GOD -FREE WATER for them thirsttyyyy asses LOL jK dehydrated people -the DJs and the bass and amazinggg music. i almost cried to Sun & Moon by Above and Beyond this year LOLOLOL it was soooo GOOD zee badd: -LOL ... like everyone says. the traffic there and back is like.... worst than LA traffic. From the Vegas strip to EDC parking, around like 8pm... TOOK US TWO HOURS but LOL everyone is raving outside their car and shit. dont even wanna know how long it took on the way back bc i knocked the fuck out -what snapchat wifi... what edc live? THAT DOESNT WORK!!! plus fuck the cell signal. there is no way in hell that you can contact or call anyone unless you find a miracle place -mmm whatever festival you go to... bring toilet paper bc that shit gonna run out. -does EDC not know that we're broke as fuhhh from buying the ticket and hotels at vegas? why you gotta make everything else $$$$ in here too??? but overalll... damn everything is so worth it! Insomniac, i'll hand you my money every freaking year for EDC. all them good vibes and good music sighhhhh. fucking withdrawals thikning of it hahahaha

I'd say save the $40, have a few thermoses of cider and chocolate, and find some neighborhood lights that are much more creative. Overall, it was a fun with a few caveats. We had a bit of a wait for the tram to load, about 20 minutes past our reservation time, so that's something to be aware of if you're on a tight schedule. The walk-around area while waiting was actually pretty nice, though, with lots of photo opportunities, and Santa himself was great and very engaging. One small tip for anyone booking the tram: seating really matters. If you're seated facing backwards, it's hard to see much of the light display. If possible, I'd recommend sitting forward-facing, even if it means waiting for the next tram. The bounce house and slide setup was a little underwhelming, but the fire pit area with rocking chairs was a nice touch and a cozy place to sit and relax. Overall, we still enjoyed the experience and would go again, but we will skip the Santa Tram & definitely stick to riding through in our own vehicle.

First booth on the right Beer and Shots! Haaaaay! $4 Jager shots and not sure about the beer but who cares after the $4 shots. At this point total score-I knew this night was gonna be good. How could it get any better? Walking around, there are so many trucks I haven't tried and want to but you only have so much room in your belly. LOL Started with an Asian flavor taco from Dragon Grille. That's it ....I just found my favorite food truck! Hands down it was the best darn taco and I will be hankerin for another till I find them out and about again! We all were completely impressed. The chickie in the front with the totally cute accent was helpful and such a sweetheart. Headed over to Sauced for the Big Easy Balls with Srirachi sauce. I had been told these are most awesome and I wanted to see for myself. Chicken and Rice formed into a ball and fried. Amazeballs! Talking about forgetting your diet for the night... Free Vegas StrEATS lanyard with Yelp checkin. Thanks! The vibe is pretty chill, everyone standing around juggling their drinks and food.....BECAUSE there is nowhere to sit other than a gross street ledge which I refused to sit. They definitely need some chairs of some sort but they know what they are doing. I'm sure there is a reason for not having the chairs/table set up. I see people complaining in the reviews regarding the downtown parking prices and some of the hotel garages just need your ticket validated inside the hotel before you leave-free parking peeps. Its not a secret or maybe it is. Anyways, what is better than cheap eats, flowin drinks, music and art? The whole night as usual with StrEATS was a success! =)

The Vegas StrEATs festival, much like First Friday is slowly but surely coming into its own. A…read morefestival that started out very unorganized and haphazard has become a regular fixture on my monthly calendar. I still am not sure how they decide which Saturday they are going to do this event. I've been the day after First Friday and I've been in the middle of the month. Part of the reason this gets 5 stars from me is that I live at The Ogden, so I literally walk down stairs from my place and BAM! Food Truck heaven. plus I like the addition of the local vendors selling their hand crafted wares. I'm not gonna buy most of it because its just not my style, but I'm all about small local vendors getting their shot. There's always a few regulars and a few change-ups each month. You can almost always count on Slidin Thru and Grouchy John's but the rest vary from month to month. And it's always a good mix of people in attendance. It's an all ages event so it usually draws that same crowd you see at First Friday, & it's FREE to get in so if you are in the area there is definitely no good reason to not check it out. My one main complaint is that there's around 4 or 5 tables total for the event. Therefore, there is always that awkward time after buying the food of walking around trying to find some place to post up and eat. For an event with as many attendees as this tends to get, and as much extra room as they have in the parking lot, whoever is in charge needs to get on this. It's a tiny little omission that would make a huge difference in the quality of the event.

The 2025 Tacco Festival is known as the Viva Taco Fest or Festival depending on what sign or…read morewebsite you are looking at. It's held in North Las Vegas at Craig Ranch Park on Craig Road. Tickets were $15.00 this year but you could purchase tickets early and pay $13.00 a person. This got you in but other purchases are separate. Besides tacos this also is a Dia De Muertos Festival and other activities. Parking was free and close. As you enter there are LOTS of venders selling all kinds of things. Then you see all large section of Day of the Dead displays. Then you finally get to most of the food venders. A little further is a stage with blaring loud Mexican Music and nearby are covered seating areas and more venders and porta potties. Th is billed as the largest taco festival in the country. I didn't count the actual amount of different taco venders but it seemed like a lot less than other taco festivals I've attended. A lot of the food venders weren't even selling tacos. Also for some odd reason you can't do any research on the taco venders. A list of the venders doesn't appear anywhere so you have to pick what you try blindly. By FAR the very best tacos we tried came from Mr Papas. But we had to wait terribly long for them in the sunny sun. It was only 80 degrees but if felt like 100 since it was sunny. There were only a few people in front of us but it seemed like it all took forever. This spoiled it for us because after we tried their amazing tacos that were so mighty flavorful everyone else's sucked. I'll be on the look out for Mr Papas tacos but might be passing on future taco festivals. I like the Dia De Muertos Displays and it's nice that they have so many merchandise venders. I don't like that they don't publish a list of venders. Our local newspaper and local TV should do stories on the taco festival. They sure don't do enough. I find it strange.

Pricing isn't bad for the food rider and it's nice to get to try different places you normally wouldn't. The music is always fun and festive, and everyone is super nice. There's tons of shopping and activities going on everywhere you go. This year has been the biggest yet and it was great!! I'm glad the paved the parking lot too!!

We bought our tickets online fairly in advance because we wanted to make sure we got a time that worked for everyone before it sold out. It took a couple days as their web page was a little glitchy, but finally succeeded. When you enter they have a handicapped entrance that bypasses the main line, and then a stroller line, and general lines for everyone else. Throughout the park they have drink stands, some have hot coco, some are more alcoholic drinks. The main area you will find food (which I totally missed the first time I went) is located up the ramp near the entrance where they had a play space for kids and story time. It is filled with food options, toys, and other cool things to buy. I recommend the bubble toys they sell close to the entrance, my son lost his mind with joy over it, as did every kid I saw with one. Upstairs they also had Santa's house. I will say its a bit of a bait and switch. There was a dude saying oh there's no like for Santa, and pictures with him come with your tickets. I was like wow that's a great deal if that's true. However had sneaking suspicion to get the pictures digital or otherwise would be an extra cost...and it was lol it was like 50 I think for 2 and 70 for 4. If you try to share the pics through the link they give they will charge you even more. I wouldn't have gotten them personally since I didn't really prepare the way I looked to invest in pictures that night, but my fiancé really wanted them. I will say the Santa was excellent. My son was not scared of him at all, and he looked like a very European Santa which I thought was cool. The lower area is a giant maze and they give you a scratch game for when you find the scavenger hunt items. This year it was different nut crackers. Within the maze are also spots for cute photo opportunities like sculptures you can sit in, pianos kids can run on, a giant light up floor for kids to dance on etc. Outside of the maze on the main floor they also have a giant slide, but its only for single riders, and they have to be three years old or older. The ice rink also looks tempting, but with that much volume on the ice its pretty scratched up. I feel more coordinated on smoother ice. I think the experience overall is really lovely and reasonable for 35 dollars with all the work they put into it. I am not sure of the cost for the extra activities though. I am sure it could add up if you have a lot of kids, so many like a discount for buying over 4 tickets would not hurt. I think its worth it to check out at least once to get into the festive spirit.

I was so excited to bring the kiddos…read more.. The maze had no directions. There were "guides" but didnt get to see it all. If youre doing the sledding... be ready to wait. They let groups go their three turns and then the next batch goes. Food and drinks were solid. Vendors were cool. Price to value wasn't that great. The VIP express pass was an additional $60 per person. Having two kids ... spending $500 on entry and sledding for four is excessive. I purchased a groupon... saved a little bit of money. Definitely go once every few years.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST going general admission for this one. Also as a side note don't purchase your tickets in advance like I did. It is better to pay a few dollars more and decide you don't want to walk around a festival in 100F heat. I went VIP and now am sorry I did. First of all this is the most unorganized food festival that I have ever been too. We had to stand in line to get wrist bands. Then as soon as we got wrist band we had to stand in another line to wait to get in. Then we had to stand in yet ANOTHER line to get our VIP food tickets. Also on the way to stand in the Food Ticket line there were countless trip hazards. (the most I have ever seen anywhere!) THE PROBLEM WITH VIP IS THAT IT LIMITS YOU TO ONLY CERTAIN VENDERS. YOU ALSO NEED A CELL PHONE to bring up a map of the event and it also lets you know what VIP Venders that you can try. You also need to GRAB A SEAT FAST because covered seating is very limited and fills up FAST. Then I hope you are OK with LOUD Music. The music they play is uncomfortably LOUD. Another problem with VIP is that YOU DON'T GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. After three plates I was full and didn't want anymore food. We just wanted to leave. That said and ANYWAYS - The food I tried was good. I wish plates were smaller so I could have stomach room to try more things. I think what I enjoyed most was that my husband figured out the locations of certain food trucks and brought back the foods to our seats. I also enjoyed watching a young man (like 15 or 16 years old) air drumming and be-bopping to an extended version of Rod Steward's Do You Think I'm Sexy. I wonder if he knew that was a fifty year old song? Then Abba's Dancing Queen filled the air and he went cold. That was entertaining. Got lucky and had a close parking spot. Good Luck!
