Sadly, whilst I was looking through a pretty varied but overpriced greetings card section, I overheard the distdainful and patronising manner in which the server spoke to a gentleman of African extraction. After he had left she was quite happy to proselytise to her friend, who was evidently in full agreement, about voting BNP because the '****immigrants'. I could hardly contain my contempt when paying for my goods, and will not be using this newsagents again. I just hope the Indian chap behind the Post Office counter which is incorporated into the store, did not hear her small minded ignorance.

This Post Office is the one I use most often, simply because I rarely encounter any queues here. I…read moream loath to say it in writing because that may mean it is next on the list for the chop, but I find it wonderful! There are two service windows here, and the counter staff are very friendly and helpful. I think the longest I have ever had to wait for service is about two minutes. Unfortunately because this isn't a main post office you can't get certain services here, like renewing car tax for example, but I find it extremely handy for most common transactions. The post office is at the back of a shop, so you can also buy your envelopes, cards and wrapping paper here too as well as groceries.

The actual post office is very cosy when you go inside. There is a little sweet shop inside so after you are done using the facilities you can pick your self up a little treat. They offer all the services that all normal post offices offer, without being based inside a W H Smith store, which is really very good if you do not fancy going to Bromley.
