This is a century-old resort that reopened in 2021 completely updated, in a mode cozy Santa Fe style. It is intended to preserve the qualities of old Santa Fe. architectural types very close to the Pueblo-Spanish. The renovation was very well done. The Eldorado is very well located , just five minutes away from the Santa Fe Plaza. Where you have great shopping including my favorite Lucchese cowboy boots store. You can immerse yourself in spiritual healing at the spa and develop an understanding for local native's traditions. The rooms are spacious and the staffs are very dedicated and helpful.

Location, location, location! We were able to enjoy one night in Santa Fe and this hotel offered a clean and comfortable stay for us. The lobby area was spacious and high and nice. The pool deck was nice too. Valet parking is offered and is really the only option for this location.

Stayed here for 4 nights when visiting Santa Fe and what the hotel has going for it is definitely its location. It's central to everything and makes for super easy walks around Santa Fe and is great location to start your adventure. Unfortunately the property could use some love-bathtub was peeling, broken attachments in the shower, AC wasn't powerful enough to truly cool the room and thin walls had us waking up to loud tvs from the room next door. Not sure the cons make it worth the price-there seem to be a ton of properties nearby and rates seemed comparable. Valet parking is included in the additional amenity fee of $35 a day. The rooftop pool is nice and gym was okay but super hot and no fans were around. Staff was friendly and bar was a nice stop on the margarita trail.

We stayed here when visiting the town for a friends wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our group. The rooms were all spacious and clean. We upgraded to have a pool patio but it wasn't accessible to the pool and provided no view which was a little disappointing but overall a beautiful hotel. It's an easy walk within everything and close enough to the Atalaya hiking trail via a short drive.

First of all they said they didn't have military discount or government rate for the room I was booking, I looked to the left of the counter and they have all these certificates and plaques stating they honor and value all service members. Not having military discount is one thing, but posting up all these plaques saying you're going to recognize and support our country's service members and then not doing so, is another. Second of all I told them I was booking the room specifically to swim in the heated pool and relax in the jacuzzi, and asked where the nearest shop was that sold swimsuits. We got back from buying swimsuits and the heated pool and jacuzzi were down for maintenance and after speaking to the bartender at the pool apparently the pool/jacuzzi had been down all day since the morning. This was a very horrible and expensive experience, not to mention a total waste of time shopping for swimsuits. They tried everything not to give me my refund but they ended up refunding the stay, thank god. Just a warning for people who work hard for their money and don't want to get ripped off or lied to.

Not exactly sure why the atomic clock in the gym is off by 2 hours.

The Eldorado really is our favorite lodging in Santa Fe. We have stayed in many different hotels in Santa Fe but the Eldorado is consistently high quality, reasonable and ideally located. The nachos in the on-site restaurant, Agave, are outstanding and at $6 during happy hour, an amazing deal. The beans were delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. Valet parking is included in your hotel rate, and the valets are very quick and responsive. The driveway can be a little tricky, don't park in the circle drive in front of the entrance, go just past that driveway and make a right into the underground valet. There is an elevator directly to the lobby for a speedy check-in. The rooms were kept very clean by the friendly staff. The gym is a special treat as it has one of the best views I have seen from Santa Fe.

Parking can be very difficult when the hotel is at or near capacity

We rented a suite for Christmas Day and the following night. Even on Christmas, the staff was great! We added an extra guest last minute and they had a wrist band and a robe to us immediately. A rollaway bed with extra towels, blankets and pillows were brought to our Room in 15 minutes. Private soaking tubs are excellent and the gift spa/gift shop has quality local items. If you want to get away to replenish and rejuvenate yourself, this should be your next place to visit. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order and I was looking forward to that. The soaking pools were also very busy this time but I can understand everyone wanting to be here. Overall it's an amazing hidden gem!

Nice comfortable hammocks. Cons: Expensive and felt "nickled and dimed". $65 for group soaks. Spent $50 on lunch, and they require people to rent the robes for an additional $20. They also run out of lockers sometimes, so in that case, you've got to put your valuables in your car (parking is also not great/limited). I asked that my robe rental be comped because we had to store our stuff in our hot cars, and the assistant manager wouldn't budge. We also waited quite a while to be seated in the restaurant and a number of other groups were waiting as well -- even one that had reservations. Advice to management: If you run out of lockers, reduce the price of something or give a customer more. As an example, forsake the $20 robe rental fee if you are not delivering the full experience and are putting the customer out (this is not Motel 6). Make sure the restaurant is properly staffed - even in between lunch and dinner rushes. Advice to customers: Bring your own robe! Expect to drop at least $150 there, if you eat anything. Call ahead to see how busy they are -- probably best to go in the middle of the week (not Friday or the weekend). I was there on Friday at 12:15P and it was packed. No chairs were available by the pools.

They have seating outside sort of rooftop area for before and after your time here, nice and quite. Plenty of things to buy, gifts, skincare, jewelry. I went for the 85 min massage, so badly needed it, so was super excited to finally get one. Erica my masseuse was amazing, she dug in deep in places, and I was like ouch but in a good way, great tension relief, and she listened when I said no oil in my hair!! Very relaxing at the same time, she was great to let me just enjoy it, not talk too much, because I didn't want to. The hot towels at the end on my feet were amazing and a great ending. I asked to concentrate on certain areas and she did, very much enjoyed this service and my time here. They have a nice clean space and a changing area and lockers for your personal items. Very friendly staff. My friend had the dancing feet reflexology and neck and shoulder massage and said hers was awesome too. Only thing was it was noisy in the hallway and I could constantly hear someone talking, but I didn't let that take away from my massage. Overall I would highly recommend this spa. Great experience. Erica was amazing!
