It was like a sense of community. Bullying does happen 99% of the places and they do give kids second chances give a lot of second kid who are bad so it it hard for kids who don't really do anything, but I think they principal since I last went there but it's a great learning environment. I learned a lot. It's very diverse and everyone knows everyone's business. It's like a small town I went.

The young man was yelling for a women to come out and fight made a seen . Staff sat there and watched while it happened. I can understand now why people say this school is a bad place they obviously dont care about the safety of the kids. Also heard a little boy brought a gun to school. I think the staff need a meeting to understand the safety of kids and training so that the school can be safe. Did I mention the boy was at least 6ft. The young women In the car must have been scared and yet the staff watched such a shame . That is harassment that young women should press charges if he continues

My son has been with the same core group of students and staff since 5th grade not many can say…read morethat. They began as SWOT (scholars working overtime) The premise is give us your child for an extra hour a day and we will get them to and through the college of their dreams. The program leased out campuses on the Eastside (Keller ES, Keller MS and Eldorado HS) the students always excelled and finally in the beginning of 2015 through the Board of Education we finally got a place to call home and Equipo Academy was built. The area of town or your families income should not take away from the quality of education our children receive. At the Equipo Academy the educators not only want your child to have a dipoloma they also want them to all have scholarships and go on to college. The teachers are always available and do an outstanding job of communicating. The students can earn amazing field trips which in the past included trips to colleges in the Washington DC and S. California areas along with learning about the landmarks and history of that region. My son will be part of the first graduating class in 2018. Equipo Academy currently enrolls grades 6-11 and starting next year 2017/18 grades 6-12. At Equipo Academy they prove everyday that "Impossible is Not"

They said they were going to investigate the issue and something was going to be done and nothing happened. Waited for calls from the administration, and still nothing. Evidence was shown that bullying was happening and no accountability was taken from the school. My daughter talked to Multiple teachers and administrators about the issue and nothing was done. Be careful putting your child in this school especially if you care about there safety and education.

Last year, I read about the construction of Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School…read moreand researched the Cristo Rey network. This past week, I attended one of the school's grand opening events, which blew me away. The school is modern, spacious, and clean. The students, dressed in uniforms, were excited and supportive. They emphatically cheered for one another as each student was introduced. The students' parents and extended family, including aunties, uncles, and cousins also attended the event. You could see the family members' beaming with excitement and pride. The President, Father Tom von Behren, is a passionate and well-spoken leader. He seemed to have all of the students' respect and attention. He spoke about the school's mission. The school combines traditional education with work study to prepare the students for college and beyond. Each student is assigned to one of the school's corporate sponsors to get first hand experience in a professional environment. I love the concept of combining classroom education with real life experiences within the community. I believe it will keep the students engaged and energized. I look forward to seeing the school and students grow.

I am a student at Advanced Technology Academy and I really want to see our school succeed. However,…read moreI'm writing this because the quality of the cafeteria lunches has been a major concern lately. Specifically, the ham and cheese sandwiches are often served completely frozen solid in the middle. It's very difficult for students to eat a meal that is still an ice block, and it's disappointing to go through the afternoon hungry because the lunch provided wasn't ready to eat. We would really appreciate it if the staff could ensure all meals are properly thawed and prepared before they are handed out. We just want healthy, edible options so we can stay focused in class!"
