You'll order your burger from a sheet with tickboxes where you choose the type of protein, the toppings, bun and sides. Or have a bowl. Turn in the sheet at the counter and wait for your burger to be prepared to order. Very simple. I opted for the Galician Beef with "Manchego" and a side of the "Bacoa french fries". Nothing complicated and it turned out great. I even managed a San Miguel while I waited for it to be prepared. Very good burger, though done to a rare rather than medium. I lived to tell the tale and ate the entire thing. Yum! It's not fancy but it's reasonably priced (€6.70 for the burger and €2.50 for the fries). Plenty of seating including tables and a narrow counter area next to the kitchen.

They offer outside seating which I always opt for if available. The interior is modern and cool (a bit small) The menu of the day is usually the reason for my visit to Cokuy. They seem to always have paella on their menu of the day, served in a personal sized pan with mussels, calamari, chicken and shrimp. The seafood isn't necessarily fresh but the paella is still tasty. Pictured below is the second course, chimichurri skirt steak with fries. The fries are the best I've had in Madrid. The skirt steak was so tough though that I could barely eat it apart from the edges. My friend had the roasted chicken which was delicious. My advice is just skip the skirt steak, everything else is tasty!

They tell you immediatley that for a burger (beef or chicken) that it will take 15-20 minutes, which is nice to know if you're in a hurry; but who is Spain is in a hurry?! The burger came fully decked out with lettuce and tomato and sme excellent fries, more like potato wedges. A friend who was also there had a vegetable wrap which she raved about and said that she would be going back there at least weekly. Well, she works 3 blocks away, so fine for some. What I liked was that I asked for a beer and there were about 5 different ones to choose from including one from Argentina! I cannot remember the name but took a photo of it that I'll post here. The place is very clean, the waiter who I think might be the manager or owner, spoke decent English, and it was just a really nice place. They also serve cheese cake but the burger filled me up.

Came across this place on Yelp and saw it had good reviews so I wanted to check it out for myself. Just the sight of people's pictures of the burgers made me really hungry and it was practically the only thing on my mind all day. Decided to make it a night out, and reserved a table relatively late into the evening. Finding the place was more than alright. It's hardly hard to miss. In the middle of Spain something America styled sticks out like a saw thumb. As I don't speak much Spain, I was worried that communicating was going to be a little tough but turned out to be more than alright. There was a tone of options on the menu to choose from but had to stick with what I saw on the website which was Pulled Pork Burger, Chicken Stripes and Chips with bacon on. When the food came I was pretty overwhelmed if I'm honest. I got my money's worth. I thought I'd get three or four Chicken Stripes but turns out it was a basket. The burger was really big and chock full as well. It was really yummy and didn't even touch the sides. I couldn't manage it all so some of it had to be taken back in a bag which I'll eat at home. Overall, great service, great food, great music/atmosphere and a great night out. Well worth it!

I ordered the sliced steak, which was executed perfectly and cooked exactly to my specifications. It is rare to find such technical precision in a casual setting.
