Three Crispy ground beef tacos plate with refried beans, rice, and some dabs of sour cream and guacamole. The tacos are full of meat with some lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, very good. Refried beans were nice and creamy, rice didn't have any flavor and tasted very plain. Chips and salsa is free as long as you order at least one entree. Chips were fresh and salsa was just ok, for me it was too tomatoey and could use a little more heat (green chile or jalapeños). All in all it was a nice filling meal. Servers were very attentive and pleasant.

For dessert, I had a strawberry-stuffed churro, and my husband had a cream-stuffed one. You have to try those churros - trust me, you won't regret it! Thank you for an incredible, authentic meal. Not going to lie, after I ordered and started looking at the menu I became nervous, realizing the Bartlesville location is the farthest south and that it is a Nebraska chain. Having had some horrific "good" Mexican food in the northern states, my family has a motto of never order Mexican North of Oklahoma. No offense to the northern states. They have specialities too. Anyway, I was almost regretting stopping in. But it worked out. I ordered the fajita tacos (asked for beef and chicken). Luckily both were good. So was the rice and beans. Had the queso. It's white. Which is what I prefer. It was decent. But there is better in town. The queso was a little Spicer than I expected. Not an issue for me. Far from Hot. But you might try it before fixing to very young kids. Salsas we're ok. Nothing spectacular. Overheard someone at another table say the taco they were eating was possibly the best in his life. Can't say I would go that far. But I'll have to try the other meats. Another lamented on the size and quantity of food. Burritos looked huge. All on all I wouldn't go out of my way. A solid 3.5. So rounding to 4. I'll be back to try more things.

Apparently people didn't throw away there food when they finished so that's not the restaurants fault... I got the #24 chicken fajita taco plate. The texted beans are really good, along with the rice. The chicken fajita is seasoned great and taste absolutely amazing. I'm extremely expressed. The green salsa is amazing as well. I love that the rice is actually done and not hard like a lot of other Mexican restaurants. This is such a huge portion for 10$ I had a lot leftovers for dinner. I also got the raspberry sweet tea which was really good as well. My husband had the #5 enchilada and taco. He said the taco taste and looks homemade and has great flavor. The enchilada is delicious he says along with the refried beans and rice. The meals are a very large portion at a great price. For $10 for a really large portion is not bad at all. The service was pretty fast and the staff was friendly as well. We ordered and then within 5 min our food was at our table. My husband and I are very impressed with the food that was served and will definitely be back again.

Not much happening in Hominy, just dilapidated vacant buildings and rusting oilfield equipment, abandoned evidence of the bustling oil boom days. Many of the city lots are covered with decaying antique iron dinosaurs, which are now worth more in scrap steel value, than the land the equipment occupies. The men that operated the equipment are long gone, as is the wealth they made from the effort. Two cop cars sitting in the burned-out corner convenience store parking lot. Officers talking to each other to keep from falling asleep from the boredom. Even the Dollar General appears to be barely making it; similar to the cell phone service that fades in and out, almost nonexistent. Traffic delays from road construction on the edge of town, forces life to slow down even more. Welcome to Hominy Oklahoma. In a town by this name, you would think the Mexican restaurant would have Pozole. Nope. Los Tres Hermanos makes up for it though with a great small town OkieMex menu covering just about everything else. The service was acceptable. Some of the food items were exceptional. Those will be emphasized. Check the pictures. The meals are identified there. The red salsa was good. The green salsa was spectacular. Fresh tomatillos, jalapenos, onion, cilantro and other spices, blended to perfection. Pick out a spoon shaped chip and fill it to capacity. Delicious. Next up the perfect crispy, flavorful carnitas in the enchiladas. These were done right and then covered with a tangy green sauce. An unbeatable combination. I ordered my enchiladas with half green sauce and half chili. The chili was very good. If they sell it by the bowl, get it. Everything else on the plate was fresh and mildly seasoned. My only criticism was the temperature of the food and plates. They were properly warm, but they needed to spend more time in the broiler. The cheese on my wife's enchiladas needed more time in the heat, as did the cheese filling in my enchiladas. The carnitas filled enchiladas, with the green sauce, is the winning meal here. For a perfect start to the meal, ask for the green salsa to scoop up with the crispy chips.

This worried us a little at first. The cocktails were amazing and relatively inexpensive. Nice beer selection too. We started with appetizers and salads and they were excellent. I ordered the fillet for my entrée and it was absolute perfection. One of the best I have ever had, and I'm a big Mahogany/Morton's/Ruth's Chris fan. Service was impeccable (of course we were the only people there). Atmosphere was fantastic with multiple chic booth seating areas that make the dining experience comfortable and private, but also several more open small table options and a beautiful bar. The location and parking is going to be a challenge for them. The Goldies that used to occupy that building experienced similar issues with parking because the lot is terribly designed. There is also a visibility issue because of the way the building is "tucked" under the level of the roadway. Best to park on the North side of the building and avoid the tight angles in front. We will be back, probably frequently, and with friends. It's a great atmosphere with great food and service.

Long and rambling post so be prepared. Remember that a three is OK. While Palace Rooms has glimpses…read moreof greatness, it was just OK when we were there. I'll start with the pluses. The decore and vibe are excellent. It's retro without being kitschy. It's a cool location (downtown B'ville). The fried mushrooms were maybe the best I've head (rivaling by far Hideaway's). My aperol spritz was delicious. The manager was great! We have been to Lollipops a couple of times in Tulsa and are intrigued about the Palace Rooms and the speakeasy and how they were going to fit all of this into the old Goldies. They just opened these two concepts in Tulsa and we figured they would be swamped this weekend so we decided to roadtrip to B'ville. I got the impression from the Tulsa media stories that they recommended reservations so I did that for the Bartlesville Palace Rooms. (It's pretty simple to do on their website.) They do not have a host at the door and there was just a sign that said seat yourself. Since we had a reservation and I didn't want to screw up their system, we checked in with the bartender. "Oh yeah, we've got a couple of reservations. Just grab whatever reserved spot you want." No one ever asked what the name was. We did grab a cozy booth area (couch, a couple of chairs and a coffee table). Great area for having cocktails. Not so much for dining. We sat for a while without service and then went to the bar to order drinks. Bartender said they would be delivered. We literally watched our drinks walk by our table a couple of times before the server checked back in with the bartender to see where they were supposed to go. She then grabbed us menus. That was all. Finally, the manager came by to see if we needed anything. We said we wanted to order an app and she took our order. While I didn't think the wait for the mushrooms was that long, the staff seemed to think it was. Another server came over to let us know it would be about four more minutes. Then the manager delivered our food and apologized. Again, the mushrooms were excellent! We decided that we would go dine elsewhere. It was honestly for a couple of reasons---I didn't want to eat off a coffee table (and we totally could have moved b/c they weren't that busy). And, I really didn't want to spoil the OK-ness of our experience here. (I really want to love this place.) We asked for the check and the manager, still our main server, was really perplexed. She wanted feedback and sat down with us in our booth. She shared a few things on how they were working kinks out. Totally personable and I would revisit just because she took the time to find out what we thought. Final thoughts: great vibe, probably a great cocktail place, menu looked interesting, if you want to dine, grab a table. I feel like if we had sat at the bar we might have stayed. Manager was excellent and is really trying to make this a stellar experience. Honestly, if it had not been for her, we probably would have walked out after our drinks.

It was absolutely amazing. I was extremely surprised to hear that he himself is from New Orleans! I'm one lucky girl to be able to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. Every bite was heaven. The little bit of spice in the gumbo was amazing and reminded me of Louisiana and how much I miss it, the people and the food. The chef out did himself on dinner tonight.
