Ya. For real. I really like the Ice Cream here. I wish I had asked questions about the women's program but they are always busy for obvious reasons and on a 98° day, they were super busy. They use an Umpqua Dairy Refrigeration Trailer. They sell Umpqua Product's, so i assume its Umpqua Ice Cream. Either way. Delicious! I come here every time i can make it to the fair. That being said they were super friendly and as fast as they could be (there were a lot of people but it was still a reasonable wait). The sandwiches were ooey gooey cheesy goodness with perfectly crisped bread. And if that weren't enough cheese they also had their super cheesy mac n cheese as a side. It was a really nice treat and even with a limited menu of 3 options it was a tough choice, so I can image a regular menu being a much harder decision.

They're here because good ol' City of Salem sets the price to have your restaurant be involved so high that no LOCAL business can really afford it. In addition to that, restaurants have to pay other ridiculous fees to other agencies just to buy their way into the event. What a waste, Salem. Of time, effort, and business' money.

And today (January 5th, 2021) was their grand opening at their new location, which is in the parking lot of an Office Depot. I ordered a Melon bread, Anpan (a sweet roll with sweet red bean paste inside), a Bacon cheese bread, and a Curry bread. The service was very friendly! The treats were all delicious, but I think my favorites were the Anpan and the Curry bread. The Anpan was soft and the red bean paste tasty with a complex sweetness. The Curry bread was filled with delicious Japanese curry and had a crunchy crust. I am so happy something like this is available in Salem and will be back to try their other offerings soon!
