We told her we would be back in ten minutes. We returned ten minutes later. She had locked the door with a note in the window that said "Return Soon" but she was still in the store. I was able to get her attention because her note was unclear as to whether she was closed for the day. She mouthed a few words which I couldn't hear or understand so I stayed at the door for another five minutes. She finally came to the door and unlocked it to tell me she was closed. When I reminded her of what she said earlier about when she would close, she said "I have been here for several hours" and just decided to close earlier. I am not sure what changed in ten minutes but we were looking forward to acquiring some of her unique ornaments. She didn't apologize or show any sympathy for closing earlier than she stated.

While visiting friends in Santa Fe we found this amazing furniture store. It was full of the…read moreunique, old world style we were looking for. All the furniture is hand made from old doors and wood pieces found in Mexico, and put together with excellent craftsmanship and style. We bought a 10 foot dining table and side buffet. They even modified an existing brand which was on the buffet to further personalize the piece. Since we live in San Diego, we couldn't take it home with us. So the owner, Marco drove it out to us himself. What service!! He also brought out a pub table that he thought would go well in our home (based on our conversation of the style and look we were trying to achieve). Of course, I just had to have it! All the furniture looks beautiful in my hacienda style home, and I have received many compliments. I highly recommend Mexico Lindo Furniture if you are looking for Southwest, rustic, old world, Santa Fe, or just unique one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture. You can't go wrong with Marco and his family.
