Caught them at the Saturday Farmers Market at PSU…read more Most of the quiches sold out by the time we got there at 11:00, but we were lucky enough the snag the lone flavor that was left - the roasted corn and green chiles with sweet onion and pepper jack cheese ($14). Honestly, I think of this quiche often. For starters, crust was so buttery and flakey. I love a little roasted corn moment. The green chiles + pepper jack cheese create an underlying layer of heat. Perfect to balance out the sweetness. The quiche is substantial enough to share, though I admit, I could have demolished the whole thing. Catch them if you can because a personal quiche is the most perfect farmer's market treat.

A warmed slice of quiche for each of us was perfect! We were there in mid-afternoon and they only had 2 flavors of quiche left, but that was fine for us and tried a slice of each. Yum! They also have other breakfast-y & dessert options including egg & biscuit sandwiches and waffles, and coffee beverages. And they have frozen quiches you can take & re-heat at home. It's a cute little cafe, and the lady working was very sweet & helpful.

For food: It is the best and freshest Mexican tacos and panuchos around this area. It is most certainly the freshest choice of food in that food cart location. The menu is short because everything they do is made really well and tastes like it belongs in the pearl district, not out here blessing us with good food. You can trust the menu pictures. After all the times I've been able to eat here without any mistakes and always having great food, for a food cart next to I-205 on Stark, you've got to be a real jerk to not give this 5 stars.

My first time here, I tried the panachu asada and the asada burrito…read more The panachu was different, I really liked the crunchy base the asada was plentiful but was very salty. The asada burrito was really big a great value for the money but I have really mixed feelings about it. Can something be really salty and yet very bland? I just wasn't impressed with the flavor, it came super hot temperature wise and I appreciated that, but the other thing that was weird was they put leaf lettuce inside a burrito? So needless to say, you got hot soggy lettuce in a burrito lol. Don't know if I'll be back, but that crispy panachu was pretty good, just didn't love what they put on it

They have some really nice varieties to choose from and food was delivered with no problem. The portions are ample for sure, but so are the toppings and proteins. They really didn't skimp on any of that. Cajun had a little kick, Street was sweet and spicy, and loaded was different than what I've had before, but definitely good. And the bacon on it was terrific. My partner wanted onion rings because they looked like the type he likes (they were) so I figured I'd also get some sweet potato fries to munch on since mac will reheat just fine (and it did). We ordered boneless wings and they're actually more like chicken tenders (just not quite as big). It meant more bang for your buck actually. We mistakenly ordered them with a dry rub because we do prefer them sauced. They had flavor but I just grabbed something from the fridge to dip and all was good. We would definitely order from here again.

The dude running the cart was nice and was happy to offer a suggestion Food was solid, with respectable portions. Lots of garlic in the garlic shrimp and the buffalo chicken mac had a good heat with nice crispy chicken. Main complaint was the noodles were too soft, and so become overcooked when reheated to make your dish. Not a deal breaker, but noteworthy. Definitely will go back to try the wings and some of the other macs

We were greeted and seated quickly and politely. The environment was clean and energetic. After looking over a well composed menu, our server "Famous Julie" happily greeted us and took our order for drinks, apps, and dinner. She provided some great input on menu selections which proved as great selections for our meal. Famous Julie returned with drinks which was quickly followed up with our apps that came out hot and delicious as well. Dinner proved to be just as delicious and appetizing as well. Portions were very impressive and well prepared. We had the 2 meat combo, BBQ pork tacos, a bacon pulled pork burger, and pulled port sandwich w/ Mac n Cheese. As travelers from out of the area, we would recommend this wonderful establishement 1000% again. The beverages for adults and kids were kept topped off, and customer service was outstanding. Our sever Famous Julie, was top notch, even after being called in to fill in when they were short staffed after being slow all day and a very busy evening dinner rush. This is a place we will return to every trip to the local area. Thanks Famous Daves and Famous Julie.

The ribs were pretty tasty. I'd eat them again. Unfortunately , the fries were lukewarm and the brisket...well it tasted like elephant ass. I tried saucing it with a variety of their sauces. Nope. Pachyderm still overwhelmed me even though each sauce had a little something unique and tasty to offer. I ate my little than room temp fries with the sauces. The Devil's Spit was my favorite. I tried to layer that with a little bit of the rich and sassy on the top and that was a good combination. I should have just ordered the ribs.
