There was a lady giving samples of fresh hummus and something else. I asked about salsa fresca (though I saw some nice looking jarred salsas). She suggested making it myself with a handful of ingredients found at the store. I did, and it was fantastic. Around the store and outside, there were also festive decorations that would be fun to get, if you're so inclined. I like grocery stores, especially when they are unique to their neighborhood. DAC fulfills the promise of a fun time shopping for things you need and maybe also for things you want.
