La Docena had a curb side view of the crowd and a killer menu of delicious seafood. This site is a must try for the food, location, and watching people. We sat at the inner loop as they were packed and we had no reservations. We ordered the grilled large shrimp with the heads on. A grand slam with flavor, taste and size of the shrimp. You must try them as you will not regret it. The charbroil Rockefellers oysters and Tabasco oysters were smoking hot and big flavor bombs. WELL DONE! If you are looking for delicious grilled seafood with a cajun twist, La Docena is your go to spot. 5/5 on service, ambience and most importantly, food. Thank you La Docena for a great meal.

Fresh seafood is the star here. The shrimp chicharrones were crunchy and seasoned well. The fried shrimp came on a huge platter with fries, rice and a salad. The portions are crazy huge. We would go back to try more dished when in town.

I especially loved our mojitos which had a ton of fresh fruit garnishes and ingredients. The octopus and fried chicharron taco was probably my favorite taco ever. So tasty, handmade blue corn tortilla and the chicharrones added pops of fat. The tuna sashimi dish was also excellent. I got the aguachiles tostad which was sizable and fresh though my mouth was on fire by the end. Highly recommend.

The grilled oysters were full of umami goodness sat on top of a delicious bed of stir fry vegetables and pilaf rice. The octopus was wonderful grilled and came with a sweet sauce and a buttery sauce. This restaurant grounds are beautifully landscaped and even has a water feature with a koi pond. When you go inside the elegant dining rooms have a warm and classy vibe. There is even a room that looks like a reception - seating area possibly for events, or for when there is a wait to be seated. The menu is mostly seafood with many Mexican and continental classics, cold dishes like ceviche and sashimi, grilled, fried, baked, you name it... But there are also other proteins on the extensive menu such as beef. I ordered the lonja de pescado which came with salad and rice. It was excellently prepared and delicious. My friends enjoyed what they ordered as well. The service was impeccable and top-notch. For drinks I ordered a refreshing pineapple and spearmint drink (one of their aguas frescas), though they also offer soft drinks, teas, coffees, and a full bar. Just their wine list is multiple pages long. This restaurant is a chain with locations in several major cities of Mexico and is known for being among the best. This location would be appropriate for business lunches, date night, gatherings of friends and family, and large enough to handle groups and events. I will certainly remember Los Arcos next time I am in the mood for great seafood and in Mexico!

In hindsight I would have done one taco + ceviche. Plenty of seating so while busy, you won't have trouble finding a spot. Will absolutely be back!

This place has a cool and festive atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the crowds were plentiful. The prices were very reasonable and a good lunch option. We sat outside and ordered limeades, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and a mixed seafood tostadas. The tacos and tostado was "stuffed" with ingredients. The condiment bar had salsas, dressings, cucumbers, and carrot slaw. They don't skimp on the fillings. The limeade was fresh and a perfect sweet quencher for a warm day. The shrimp taco was good and warm. The fish barely fit in the tortilla. The show stealer was the mixed tostado. The seafood was fresh, cold, and very tasty. This is a great stop for quick and flavorful tacos. Fish Tacos of LA Paz was packed on a Thursday afternoon and now I know why. My only pause was that Fish Taco is about the proteins and not condiments.
