I take my 3 sons here for haircuts. It's not a kids barber shop (I don't like children's haircut places) and they are AMAZING with my sons!!!! They're nice, quick/efficient, very low to no wait times, and their haircuts are always awesome. Highly recommend. FYI- this is a Latin barber shop where they primarily speak Spanish. The haircut I get from this place is great, but the barbers talk more than the cut hair. This place use to take credit card for additional $1.00 fee, but they STOP TAKING CREDIT CARDS OR DEBIT CARDS, you will have to go to Walgreens where the atm charges you a additional $3.00, plus what ever your bank charges for letting that atm access your account, now add that up, that haircut can get expensive real fast! Updated review 4/3/2018 The barbershop currently has a ATM to withdraw money. I came in 9:00am Tuesday morning there were three clients waiting for a haircut and no barber was in as yet. I saw the reviews weren't the greatest but most of them were old so a gave them a chance. This place isn't a "turn n burn" place. All the barbers were taking their time on their clients. When it was my turn he did the same with me. I didn't get his name but I went to the guy closest to the door. He did an excellent job giving me a mid fade and trimmed my hair. Charged me $15 which is great usually a barber charges $20+ for a fade and haircut. Ignore the other reviews and give these guys a chance. read more

We've been coming awhile and they give great cuts but the communication and response of management could be better. We called scheduled to come in they told us to come right down and when we got there they told us they were closing because it was slow so they closed. Meanwhile it stated open till 4pl. Not good communication skills and poor lack of irresponsibility. How do you turn someone who drove from out of way all while letting them know to come in and then disappear . Told to go home and not offer is ridiculous very high lack of professionalism. Highly doubt we will be returning ...very disappointed and dissatisfied!! read more

If I could have given them 0 stars I would have !! Unless you plan on waiting more than two hours to possibly be seen by a barber I suggest not coming to this place it is very unorthodox there is no organization not to mention it is unsanitary the barbers don't clean any of their clippers, the floors are constantly dirty and in at one point we saw a barber go to the bathroom more than seven times in the two hours we waited probably because he was doing drugs I will be reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau as well if you have any sense or want a proper haircut with clean utensils do yourself a favor and DO NOt COME HERE . Wait time is ridiculous and the will skip u even if your next to cut their friends hair first . This is more of a hang out spot for locals to buy or sell illegal items or bullshit with the barbers distracting them from working . I really enjoyed my cut and trim here. Here is what I experienced... The young dude that cut my hair and trimmed my beard was great. He was very patient, and very kind. Every time I said "thank you," he said "thank YOU." You can tell that he really appreciates his customers. He was in NO RUSH. Which is great while you're in the chair, but you need to exercise patience while waiting for a chair. Just relax, bring a book or something. All of the barbers I saw there were young, so yes, the music might be loud. They had a Walking Dead marathon playing while I was there, I saw two whole episodes between waiting, and being in the chair. I watched the work the other barbers did, and it was equally as great. If you're looking for a new barber, check these guys out. read more

We visited this place on a Sunday morning... which was the busiest as expected. We were told the wait would be 40 minutes. So we said ok we would go grab a bite and come back. When we returned 45 minutes later it was packed with people. So we just sat down and waited out turn. After waiting over an hour we got called up. And I say with my 2 year old on my lap... he was scared and not comfortable. He screamed his little lungs out. The barber tried his best. He charged us $10 for my sons cut you get a ticket and take it to the guy at desk where you pay. On our way out we tipped the barber $3 and thanked him. Next time I'll try a more kid friendly shop. Maybe that might help my son a bit... since this was his first time getting his hair cut by someone other than myself. One thing I couldn't find online was a working number for the shop. So I had no way to call ahead to get an appointment. read more

This is my barbershop! I've been going here for 5 and a half years. You don't need an appointment and every barber there can cut hair good you don't have to worry. It does suck though that they raised their prices from $10 to $20 over the years for full haircuts but all barbershops charge that so it's not a problem read more

I do think they give good haircuts - but it is way to loud in this barber shop. Spanish music blaring through the speakers with out of tune barbers singing along. El Patio feels exactly like the name - a back yard. It is a laid back, take your time and chill place. They are all so meticulous with all their clients. I first took my father there a year or so ago and he loved it much, he raves about it to my husband ( who wants only perfection when it come to getting his haircut). He even got a hot towel shave. The service you get here - you won't find anywhere else. I started taking my 4 year old son here for the price ( I haven't mentioned it is only $10) but I also take him because all the guys are so amazing with kids. I went in tonight with two 4 year olds and a 12 year old. It was raining and wasn't that busy. The TV's were playing something that maybe the kids weren't going to like- and before you know it- the owner put an awesome children's movie on for them. That was such a great touch. I cannot say enough about this place. I hope they continue to do well because this type of place could be that place you take your kids and your grandkids to get their haircut for years to come.
