We ordered the set menu and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and the servings were perfect.

They use fresh and local ingredients, and the menu includes seasonal specialities like winter / summer vegetables or the fresh fish of the day. I find the dishes always creative and full of taste, best enjoyed with a nice glass of red wine from their broad wine menu. Eating a la carte is reasonable considering the quality of both the food and the service (expect around 30-40 euros per head, with starters, dessert, coffee and wine), but if you are there for lunch, make the most of the dally menu, just for 11.90 euros. They have recently added a selection of tapas to their menu, but haven't had the chance to try them out yet. Will write another review after my next visit, hopefully they will be in line with the rest of the menu!

Everything is locally sourced, including beautiful bread from Pedregeur served with seaweed butter. We had 3 fish dishes and 2 most between 3 of us. Each course more interesting and flavourful than the last. The cheese board was so good we ordered a 2nd one! What makes this place stand out the most is the incredible service. Each dish comes with a thorough explanation about the ingredients and cooking methods. Our waiter Jasmina was extremely knowledgable and we asked her lots of questions about the cheese! She even gave lots of recommendations about the best places to buy locally sourced cheese. If you want something totally different from your typical Spanish restaurant go here, it's a fantastic dining experience!

Very friendly staff, Cristina is a favorite staff person of ours but we dined there at least 6 times over a two week period lunch or dinners and found the entire staff friendly and helpful. Quality of the food was good decent wine list, even the house wine was palatable and reasonably priced. Dinner for two with a decent bottle of wine ran about 5O Euros. This eatery is definitely worth a visit.

All in all, a glass of red wine, a gin and tonic, a daiquiri, and an Old Fashioned. I had the Old Fashioned. I order it quite often, mainly because it's not a drink most places get right and so I try and find the few ones that do. This one does. It was one of the best Old Fashioneds (what would be the plural of Old Fashioned?) I've had and definitely the best in continental Europe that I've tried. The bar itself is visually spectacular, probably the best-looking bar on the Arenal, and the prices are more than reasonable for what you're getting. 4 stars (standard) - 0 (nothing bad) + 1 (great cocktails) = 5 stars
