What we ordered: we decided to get a flight for 9€. We got to choose 5 types to try. We tried the 1,2,5,6,7. My favorites were the 2 (açaí beer!) and the 5 (red rice). They were all very smooth and unique flavors!

Our server (the only one working) is the 2nd friendliest person I've met in Madrid, and the meat is the 1st tastiest I've met in Madrid (I realize this is poor grammar, red penners).

We were the only people there eating although a few stopped in for a drink during the couple of hours we were there. We loved the big glass of olives that they brought us to start. We ordered a hamburger with potato chips (crisps) for the girls to share and it was more than enough for their tiny stomachs. My spouse and I had the menu del dia. He started with pasta carbonara, which child #1 decided was better than her food and ate most of it. I had a salad of tomatoes and cheese with balsamic vinegar. Nothing fancy but nice and fresh. Spouse enjoyed the steak (good but nothing special) while I had smoked salmon open faced sandwiches. It was so rich I couldn't even make it half-way through. The brought us a huge carafe of wine to share (at least two glasses each in there -- we didn't finish it). For dessert, I opted for coffee while he had a cream cake that was too sweet for me but the others helped him finish it. Charlotte is already asking when we can go back for croissants.

I found this place online and after about a mile mile walk I found my landing spot! A little hole in the wall with 6 taps and several tables and bar stools, cool little place. The bartender, who spoke English was well versed in craft beer and noticed my half acre shirt to boot. They had an awesome NEIPA on tap from a local brewer mad brew. With a wheat, porter, triple IPA, sour and another base model IPA, this place has something for everyone. Service was awesome, the place has a lot of character. If you are used to American craft beer and need your fix in Madrid, go here!

They sat us in the back with no explanation. We ordered drinks, then a girl ran up to our table to take payment, saying that this was what they do there, settle each item at a time. We intended to order multiple drinks and food, but seeing what was going on we left after finishing our drinks. Insulting, to say the least. They were all nice, but it was fake. The beer was good, they should have closed for the private party instead of subjecting us to that awkward and uncomfortable vibe. Very lame.
