Food was average. Service was absolutely the worst experience in Burgos. The server was rude to our entire party.

Stopped in for a quite bite at Morito as we were passing through. It's small and super busy, but just grab a seat where you can and order some bites. We had beers, sangria, calamares and patatas bravas. Everything was great, was the perfect stop over, and service was also great despite how hectic it was in there. Absolutely amazing food, good price and very friendly service. When I think of Spanish food, this will be the restaurant I think of. It is busy, buzzing with Spanish I don't understand, they pour wine like it's water, they are friendly, the portions are huge and it tastes just amazing! I wish I had a little more space to try more dishes. Be prepared to wait or come early. This place gets busy but it's worth all the wait. I'll be back! PS: no English menu and nobody speaks English so I just watched a few people order and pointed to their plates when I ordered. They thought it was funny but it worked! Just stand by the chef by the bar and you'll see all the great food being made. Have a glass of wine and in no time you're an expert on the menu. read more

This popular bar has an extensive menu with tapas, raciones, ensaladas, scrambled egg dishes, platos combinados & desserts. We loved the salads & the dessert we ordered. You need to be careful about what you order or you'll end up with a very basic standard fry-up! It gets very busy here because the food is good & well priced so you need to get here early. read more

The front desk girl at our hotel recommended this place for tapas and the fact that Is a locals fave,this place is small and gets pretty pack soon so get there early! Huevos revueltos were delicious lots of tapas and Tostadas to choose from.... All the bartenders/waitresees were lovely a nice experience all around. Cash only! read more

We just ate lunch here. The food, service & atmosphere were so great, we will probably return for dinner. The gambas were excellent. The salad "Gloria" was such an interesting & delicious mix of lettuce, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, corn etc. My husband had a beer while I chose a very good sangria. The staff was friendly & helpful, even to peregrinos with backpacks. The best seat in the house is at the bar, to watch the servers pull all the dishes together. A must-try in Burgos!!! read more

I cannnot believe there are no other reviews. We ate twice at this restaurant, in the bar for lunch and again at dinner another time. You may have to wait for a table but it is sooo worth it. In particular we had two deserts which were amazing. We thought it was some of the best food we have had in Spain and very busy.
