My friend got a Tex-Mex one and after a debate between Thai and Vietnamese, I chose Vietnamese. This spot made it easy, with an interesting menu and plenty of options to choose from. We ordered a few different things, including tex mex tacos, a salad with rice, and a few different taco varieties. My hubby and I shared the Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean tacos, and we also got the watermelon juice and chips with avocado salsa. Everything was flavorful, and the tacos were definitely not skimping on the fillings. Each taco is around $6, which initially felt a little steep, but they were packed to the brim, so you're definitely getting a substantial portion. Service was a little mediocre. I got the sense that our server was new and there were a couple of mix-ups, but nothing major. Overall, an enjoyable lunch, especially for a group with different dietary preferences. The patio was a great bonus, and we'd happily come back.

The red sauce was okay, but not my favorite. It tasted a lot like the red sauce from Del Taco. The rice and beans were great. It was hard to judge the salsa or carne asada since there didn't seem to be much of either of those. The ambiance was super cute. I loved the huge patio with tons of outdoor seating. The server was polite, and even asked me if I needed a fork, which I did. The location is great, especially if you are visiting for river based activities. It's maybe about a mile away from the waterfront, and close to a lot of other Hood River businesses. Overall, even though it wasn't my favorite wet burrito of all time, I had a good lunch here and I'm glad I checked this place out.
