From the moment you walk in, you're made to feel welcome. The owners clearly care about their restaurant, their staff, and every guest who comes through the door. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, they make the experience relaxed and memorable without ever feeling rushed. They have a nice menu which takes advantage of locally available foods as well as some brought in from garter away. Local seafood featured prominently, as do pasta dishes and some creative salads. They also have some gringo style steaks (thick, aged beef) and BBQ ribs on the menu. They have a reasonable wine and beer list and also make good cocktails. We enjoyed their Besame Mucho margaritas which were nicely balanced. My wife had the blackberry dorado dish. Nice pieces of dorado with a slightly spice blackberry glaze. I opted for the BBQ ribs. They came separated into individual ribs which were grilled and covered with a slightly sweet spicy sauce. Very tasty! They came with an half eat of corn and a baked potato topped with mayonnaise and bacon. I want crazy about the mayo, but it was very Mexican.
