My daughters wanted piercings for their 15th birthday. El Loco is very clean & their piercer helped talk through the cons of getting piercings (nose, eyebrow, bellybutton) at a young age. My first dealing with El Loco Tattoo was in 2016, and I was overall satisfied with it. The piercer at that time was a little rude and seemed a little judgemental but was punctual and did a good job overall. A few days ago I went back to get my ears pierced again. I made a 2:00 appointment and arrived 15 minutes early. Rollin was considerate enough to let me know he'd be late and couldn't make it until 2:30... but it would've been nice to know earlier. Rollin was professional during the session and easy to talk to. He did a better job than the first guy got my ears pierced by. I paid $50 for both ears. Overall, if I decide to get something else done, this shop will be on the list of places to consider. read more

What can I say, I never got the tattoo! I went in requesting Eddie (the owner) with the expectation to spend up to $2000 total when it was all complete. Its in part due to communication problems but also just plain laziness. We set my first appt for 2 weeks from the consult. The day prior I was told he had not yet drawn up the work. Then we rescheduled for 5 days later. I arrived early to check out the drawing. At this time I was told that Eddie may have forgotten when our appt was. Needless to say I walked away. Our scheduled appt for 1pm got a phone call to me at about 2pm. I live in Port Isabel & drove to Harlingen. Took off work twice. All for my time to be pissed on. Just sayin. I dont think the business matters all that much to these guys. read more

I had a Koi tattoo done by Eddie in 09. Due to health conditions I had to leave and am actually going back this year to get the last of coloring finished and highly recommend this shop. EVERYONE who has seen this koi that covers my right thigh has given me rave comments. and I lived in Hawaii...It is the best artwork I have ever had done...... read more
