They were still unnamed, the battle for the El Loco name was escalating. I vaguely had an idea of what I wanted, knowing that it needed to be bigger than the original and able to be blended in. Flipping through the expansive "catalog" of designs, I decided on a turtle...mostly green in color. My original tattoo was a thick black outline, with a couple pastels as fill ins. The first guy I talked to said he didn't think they'd be able to do it, but then asked the other guy (Eddie, I think) his opinion. Eddie taylor colored the design I chose to make a perfect cover up. Of course, I can still see the original, but if you don't know what or where you're looking for it, you'd have no clue that it's a cover up. The shop was clean...the MOST IMPORTANT factor of a tattoo parlor for me. I also like a good portfolio and references as to the artists talent. I had seen Eddie's work a year before, on one of my surgical patients. I couldn't help but ask where she'd gotten them done and she told me. My tattoo still looks amazing, almost as if it had been done very recently. The pricing was fair, I think. It's pretty big, multi colored...and a cover up. My next piece is going to be way more complicated, but if it wasn't, I'd definately go back to these guys!

I went in for a…read moresnake snakey eyes, and I've been there before the past 4 times that I had my snake eyes so I didn't think nothing of it, this time it was a big girl, not the same guy that would do mine all the time. So she draws the lil dots lining up where Shes going to pierce and she says "oh yes I seen where you had it before " and continues to get her stuff ready, first off she didn't even show me and ask me if the dots she put on my tongue were okay and proceeds to clamp my tongue and says "this is for the pain", mean while, while she is piercing she is doing it the slowest anyone has ever done it in my life! She puts the bar in, acts like everything is cool, I do the mouthwash and I didn't notice that THE PIERCING was under my tongue till I got in my car !! automatically I start feeling a migraine. & it's affecting my eyes and my ears. Days go by and this migraine is pounding on me. last night I went to sleep with my head throbbing and I woke up at 5am to pain on my tongue and to see that my tongue is swallowing the whole piercing! My ears were popped because of how severe my headache was so I took it into my own hands, got some tools and took it out MY DAMN SELF! SHE COULD HAVE PARALYZED MY TONGUE BECAUSE OF HER CARELESS ACTIONS AND I FEEL LIKE SHE NEEDS HER LICENSE REVOKED. The fact that she saw that she did wrong and continued to let me leave like everything was okay was not COOL!!! IF YOU WANT TO GO THRU THE PAIN AND END UP WITH A EFFED UP PIERCING AND MIGRAINS COME TO THIS CHICK BUT OTHER THAN THAT I THINK THIS SHOP NEEDS TO HAVE HER FIRED BECAUSE SHE COULD HAVE LEFT ME WITH A DEAD TOUNGE !!!! I'm literally having to go out of my way to make this review to save people's time, money, and body!

Went in for a cover up & a new piece. Got some flowers on my cover up. Ace did them each only one…read morecolor. Looks horrible. Thought he was going to add some definition with other colors, but instead adding black lines in the middle of each petal. Looks childish. Had started my other thigh with an underwater tattoo (before the color was "finished" on the flowers) & he added "waves" around my ship, when the entire thing was supposed to be under water. Tattooed VERY ugly tentacles on my octopus, which is wrapped around my ship. Each tentacle looks different & nothing like the picture i showed him as an example of what I wanted my octopus to look like. When i voiced i was unhappy with it, he basically just said that i "don't get it. Its not done." Horrible tattoos. He also owes me money, but has been ignoring me. DO NOT GET TATTOOED HERE.
