When the food arrived, I began my flavor fiesta with the rice. UHHHHHHHHH. The rice was perfectly seasoned and paired with the tzatziki, it rivaled the Greek artworks featured on the walls. Then I made my way to the souvlaki that was dripping juice not unlike myself. Finally I ended my journey with the calamari which was immaculate paired again with the tzatziki sauce. The rest of the meal was fine with way too much on the plate. They offered more ouzo at the end as a form of further compensation but I declined. Like many places in Weiden they were busy with holiday parties and those coming in from the Christkindlmarkt. Plan accordingly. Finally, the host doesn't care for credit cards as they have to pay a substantial fee. They will take them but better with cash for larger groups. A 3.5 rounds to an over generous 4.

I ordered a dunkleweisen and kebab with pita plate. Both were awesome choices! The kebab meat is mouth watering -- every single piece somehow manages to be a crispy edge piece. The pita was warm and soft. The tzatziki sauce was cool and tangy. And, all these rich flavors were cut beautifully by the slices of raw onion. I could give or take the rice but with so any other wonderful things on the plate, it was no big deal to just leave the rice uneaten. Things went a little squirrely at the end of the meal when I needed to pay with a credit card. After a little back and forth with the waiter, we figured it out, but I'd suggest just going with euro to avoid any awkwardness.
