It's open for lunch most days and less busy during the day. The menu is fairly varied with a big selection of cold and hot starters, fish, gyros and other greek specialities. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a selection of drinks including greek beer and, some greek wine. We shared a cold Mezze plate and it had a nice selection of dips, calamari salad and beans. All of these tasted quite nice and I really liked it. For main I had grilled calamari which was delicious although, it had a bit too much olive oil used. The flavour was great and I enjoyed the tender calamari. I also tasted the octopus and it was also amazingly tender. I would happily come back here again and try a few more dishes. Food is good and reasonably priced and the service is very friendly.

Ich schätze griechische Küche und angelockt von den vielen positiven Bewertungen der letzten Wochen wurde es wieder einmal Zeit. Das Restaurant liegt weit von der stark befahrenen Schleißheimer Straße zurückversetzt in einem Wohnhaus mit Ladenzeile unten drin. Der Innenraum ist einfach, aber gemütlich eingerichtet mit unterschiedlich großen, schön gedeckten Tischen. Am Samstag um ca. 13:00 Uhr waren wenige Gäste im Lokal, vorwiegend mittleren Alters und eine Familie mit Kindern. Die Begrüßung war freundlich, aber nicht wie so oft aufgesetzt überschwänglich. Mit den rasch servierten Getränken gab es eine Ouzo vom Haus. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, vor allem mit Fleisch- und Fischgerichten für ca. 9 bis 15 Euro versehen, Mo - Sa gibt es zusätzlich eine Mittagskarte mit ca. 8 Gerichten für ca. 7 bis 9 Euro, jeweils mit Salat und Dessert. Ich wählte den Dorfteller mit Gyros, Souvlaki, Steak mit Pommes, Tsatsiki und Salat (13,50 Euro, der Wechsel von Reis auf Pommes war kein Problem). Die Begleitung wählte eines der Tagesgerichte (Fisch mit Kartoffeln, Salat, Dessert, 8,50 Euro). Der frische und gut angemachte Salat wurde vorab serviert, mein Wunsch nach "ohne Zwiebeln" beachtet. Die Hauptgerichte waren reichlich portioniert, auch das Tagesgericht und geschmacklich gut. Der Nachtisch war ein kleiner Pudding mit Ahornsirup. Die Kellner waren zugegen, wenn man sie brauchte, aber ansonsten im Hintergrund. Genau das Gegenteil, als wenn man ständig belagert wird, was ich nicht mögen würde. Nachdem ich ja ein "Normal-Gericht" hatte, wäre ein Ouzo zum Schluss noch nett gewesen, doch alles kann man eben nicht erwarten. Fazit: Ein nettes, griechisches Restaurant zum gemütlichen Verweilen mit gutem Essen. Doch in allem würde ich trotzdem nicht 5 Sterne vergeben. Das würde nur ein absolutes Top-Restaurant mit ganz anderen Preisen bekommen können.
