By far one of the best Mexican style drinks I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the strawberry flavored one.

Anyone know if they sell virgin Micheladas?

Hi we sell the mix, so For virgin we recommend mineral water. That way you get the bubble effect with no alcohol.

It was a hot day and I left a meeting and when I saw the sphere somewhat close by, I decided to…read morewalk over to it and take a close look. From there, El Dorado Cantina caught my eye after looking at Mexican restaurants in the middle afternoon for lunch. I prefer stand alone restaurants, generally than restaurants in hotels or casinos. This review is for the Happy Hour menu. The restaurant had its Calaveras theme awaiting Dios de los Muertos. Very nice decor and friendly helpful server. I am gluten intolerant, or I would've ordered the mole, but I was there for their very extensive happy hour menu and from the following different kinds of tacos, I picked three based on her recommendations. The list of choices is: Carne Asada / Carnitas / Pulled Chicken / Al Pastor / Chorizo Corn & Poblano / Cauliflower / Crispy Beef & Brisket / Crispy Chicken / Quesabirria I chose the Al Pastor, Carne Asada and the Carnitas. Before my plate of three tacos I got a delicious basket of chips with green and red salsa. The tacos were filled with each particular meat and extras. They were all excellent with the Carnitas superlative, followed by the Al Pastor and then Carne Asada which needed a little salsa. I would have ordered dessert but I was filled up finishing the tacos. I might be gluten intolerant but I'm not glutton intolerant. Well done El Dorado.

They have TVs if you're into sports. Service was great, very attentive and warm. The drinks were amazing, absolutely delicious. I hate to say this, but the food was only okay. If you're looking for authentic Mexican flavors, this is t the place for you. The green pozole was insanely salty and tasted only of cumin. The fajitas were okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The hard shell tacos were so hard they were hard to eat. And the meat inside was ground beef...just a weird choice. Overall, a good experience because it was time spent with friends, but the food needs work.

Let's just say... Tacos El Gordo did NOT disappoint the hype! I actually came back TWICE during my…read moreVegas trip, and I got to try the vampiro, quesadilla, and tacos. Everything was SO good. Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything you order. And don't let the long lines scare you! The service is super quick, so you're not waiting nearly as long as you might expect. I also got their grilled onions and peppers, and that little extra kick took everything to another level. If you're coming to Vegas and want a cheap, filling meal, this is definitely a spot to add to your list. And honestly, one vampiro taco and you will be STUFFED! The hype is real. Definitely worth the stop!

It seemed a little confusing at first, but they clearly have it worked out to a science and everything moves pretty quickly. The homemade corn tortillas were probably one of my favorite parts. The steak and pork tacos were both excellent and definitely my favorites. The chorizo was okay, but I'd probably skip it next time and get another steak or pork instead. Overall, the tacos were delicious and we were really pleased with the experience. It's a fun place and a little different from your typical taco shop. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Vegas.

After my spectacular first meal at Toca Madera, I had to schedule a return, which I did Friday…read moreevening. This time my daughter and niece joined me. I was excited to dine in the main dining room rather than at my bar-area table from Wednesday. Travis, our server, was fantastic, just like Mariah on my first visit. I will say, it seemed even louder in the main dining room. The electronic dance music soundtrack makes you feel like you're dining in a hot dance club. Definitely not the place for a quiet dinner, but it's all part of the Toca Madera experience. We started with the Watermelon and Passion Fruit Margaritas. Both superb. For a starter, we ordered the Queso Fundido. It arrived at the table like molten lava, so we had to give it a few minutes before diving in. Once we did, it was incredible. For our entrees and sides, we had the Petite Filet and Seared Scallops. Both were awesome. We also ordered the Street Corn, which I had loved so much on Wednesday, and the Whipped Potatoes. The potatoes, with a little jalapeño oil and lime salt, were insanely good. During dinner, Travis treated our table to Toca Madera's fire shots. They arrive in tall shot glasses topped with a seasoned lime slice and sugar cube, which is then lit on fire tableside. It's quite the presentation and fits this restaurant perfectly. Apparently we made a good impression on management, because dessert turned into an event of its own. We were treated to a huge platter featuring the Brownie Celebration along with the Strawberry Tres Leches and Brown Butter Cake. It was quite a finish to the meal. As great as my Wednesday dinner was, Friday night was even better. And this time we had a ringside seat for Toca Madera's female fire performer, who came out at 7:30 and again at 8:30. Watching her perform just a few feet from our table was amazing and really capped off the evening. Two visits in three days. That probably tells you everything you need to know about how much I enjoyed Toca Madera.

We had the chicken and waffles and the French toast--both delicious. The staff even brought out a complimentary birthday dessert for my sister, which was such a sweet touch. Just a heads-up: we came for the fire show and belly dancing advertised, but those are apparently only during dinner service. They also don't allow balloons. Even with those minor hiccups, the service and food were so good that we're planning to return for dinner to see the show. Highly recommend!
