I am not sure what I expected, but it was a new flavor to me. This wonderful, almost vinagery sort of undertone to it. I loved it. The Sorullitos, are a really tasty corn fritter, loved those as well. Lizzie had the Chicharrones De Pollo Mofongo with the Tostones. The Chicharrones were magnificent. Wonderful crunch on the outside, lovely and soft on the inside. She thought the Tostone were a little too salty, I really liked them. Both meals were on a bed of mashed green Plantains, which were marvelous. Rich, and thick and flavorful. I had the Carne De Cerdo Frita Mofongo, same sort of frying as Lizzie's chicken, same quality.
